It looked exactly like the pictures except some parts were even better, we went on a sunset hike up to the top of the field and that view was amazing, I’d highly suggest going here during harvest season, the locals were really nice and respectful, they have tons of activities for the whole family, the nighttime wildlife is very active, the location is very light on traffic. I had an amazing time it was everything I was looking for, a few things didn’t work but that was alright. There was more things to do than I expected. This place felt like a home away from home and I would love to come back again, the notes left around that included rules were in plain view and simple to follow. I didn’t have any questions while there, everything was easy to find and it was fun learning about some of the things that were there, this place is full of interesting information and heritage.

This is the second stay at this spectacular place. It is such quiet and peaceful location. It lets you “regroup” from the every day home life. During this stay, we encountered several inches of snow, but Emily eased our minds that the neighbor would plow the driveway. Staying here is pure tranquility itself, but the snow made it more “magical” I love that our fur baby is welcome and I am able to take him for walks with no issues. I highly recommend Emily’s place!

We had a really nice stay! Lots of the time we were outside at the fire pit, playing board games, yard games and grilling! The location and overall nature was super enjoyable and relaxing with the water and birds chirping. The cabin is more on the country side, but still close to stores which is nice if you forget anything or want to see what else is around. Plus there is a Nature Preserve 3 minutes away that has nice views. The cabin was clean and had just about everything. Overall we had a really nice stay and definitely would return!

Kate was over the top helpful. Her quaint top-o-mountain cabin doesn’t have an address. I didn’t know how to put coordinates into my GPS. So she met me and led me IN PERSON to the cabin. This took much pressure off my evening because I was arriving to the wilderness location after dark. She was friendly and personable. He cabin is exactly as described, perfectly clean and a peaceful idyllic experience. We even saw deer and a flock of turkey who live in the property Thank you Kate!
