A true retreat is what you will find here! We needed peace and relaxation for our trip, but there are plenty of opportunities for adventure. You stay in the guest house and the main house is close by, but it all feels very private. We loved the farm fresh eggs left for us- so thoughtful!

We had a great time and Gladys is a fantastic host who is quick to respond! The space was very neat and tidy up on arrival. So many wineries within a 15 minute drive of this space.

The perfect place for our girls weekend! We will be back with our families for sure!

Wonderful place! Very private, beautiful scenery. Cozy with all the necessary comforts of home. Saw tons of wildlife. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

The cabin was very close to our work-site and enabled us to spend more time on working rather than traveling. It was a very quiet, peaceful place, located in beautiful terrain and had all the facilities to make our stay very enjoyable. Certainly would like to stay there again. Thank you, Joyce!

Havilah's place is very centrally located. It was easy to get around on foot. It was also convenient to Joseph, Wallowa Lake, and lots of hiking. The place was comfortable and cozy, great for a couple or small family.

The house exceeded our expectation. It's a cute place and all amenities are of good quality. The owner has good tastes from kitchenware to bedding. We felt very much at home and enjoyed our time there. The place is perfect for 4 people and we felt there was good privacy for all. The owner has high standard and pays good attention to details, which reflects on everything in the house. Thank you Ruth!

From the pictures this house seems a bit dark, but it's bright, immaculately clean, and well equipped for your needs. This is a great spot to stay for outdoor activities! Wonderful location for us to have our own space while being close to family for the holidays. Was so nice to have the gas fireplace adding to the coziness. Quick note: if you're staying here in the winter, you need to plan for the weather (i.e. 4-wheel drive, chains, etc ). Highly recommend!

This was a great quiet place for our group. The views were wonderful, nice outdoor seating area for all. The house was clean and was a great size. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of supplies and linens. Listing does state 3.5 bath but really is a 3 bath, we did not find four toilets, but was not a deal breaker.

This home was heaven for us. We had 5 people stay at the house. We could not complain about anything. We had a blast and host was so amazing!!!! We will definitely be back the place is a 20 out of 10 this is beyond beautiful and peaceful. Thank you so much for everything!

This was the perfect little cabin for our stay. Very cozy, had everything we needed. The huge screened porch was nice even during winter to remove and store our snow gear. We stayed warm, there were extra blankets if needed. Our teens got a kick out of using the VHS player and found a few of their favorite old movies to watch, which was fun. Very snowy and beautiful, was perfect!

The cabin sits near a stream, deer come into the yard, it is quiet and peaceful. Although it is near an RV park, it is a nice, secluded spot. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room! The location is a short distance from the town and across the street from the tramway. Beautiful area and a great time in Joseph, OR!

Our stay at this cabin exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely perfect and beautiful! From the gorgeous kitchen to bathrooms and accommodating space. It’s been a favorite place for our family and we will definitely be back soon! We recommend this place 15/10! Book it now, you won’t regret it! A peaceful oasis!

We had a great time in this little cabin. It was the perfect place to get cozy and come back to after a cold day of fishing. Had everything we needed too! Linda and Ron were great hosts and even made sure the driveway stayed plowed throughout our stay. We will definitely be back our next trip to the Clearwater River!
