Lake houses in Walled Lake

This is by far our most favorite Air BnB that we’ve stayed at. The house was clean and cozy. We got snowed in and this was the perfect place to have that happen. I had everything I needed there to put together nice meals and the TV in the living room made for great movie nights. The game closet was a fun added bonus! The hot tub was pristine and we enjoyed sitting outside with the snow falling watching the snowmobiles zoom past on the lake. We will definitely be coming back when it warms up and to take advantage of the pontoon rental and enjoy a few days on the water. 10/10 stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

Our stay at Vivian's beautiful lake house was a long series of pleasant surprises. Where most airbnb's have the bare minimum of cooking supplies, her kitchen was fully stocked, with every appliance and spice you'd need for home cooking right at hand. The beds were comfortable, the sheets spotless, the bathrooms were pristine, and the whole house had a clean and welcoming feel that only comes from dedicated work. The lake equipment was extensive, and allowed us to make many treasured memories out on the water. And to top it all off, she left a platter of homemade chocolate chip cookies on the counter as a welcoming gift. We would happily stay here again, I can't emphasize enough how well kept this house is.

What a great place for an early fall week stay. The directions were clear, and when we reached out, we received quick responses. The house felt more secluded than most others that were right on the shore. We loved the kayaking and walking the surrounding trails and gravel roads. We enjoyed taking a hot shower afterward. The living room, with its huge windows, brought the outside in and in the cool evenings, the fireplace made it feel quite cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the provided Keurig pods and teas.

Host was absolutely wonderful and responsive. Detroit is going through revitalization. So nearby neighborhoods seemed sketchy (especially with me and my family being from rural areas). However we were safe and had a wonderful weekend. Tracey had available many amenities to keep everyone in the family entertained when we didn't feel like going out.

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

Booked this lakefront home for a work retreat. The bnb was lovely and comfortable, with all we needed to cook, relax, and decompress. The hot tu was wonderful, and the provided robes, slippers and beach towels were a nice touch. Sara was communicative and proactively shared instructions that helped us settle in and check out easefully. One minor issue we had was that several of our folks struggled to find the address as they were arriving in the dark, but we figured it out quickly. Sara was even so kind as to extend our check-out time a bit, as we had a little more work to finish up.

Great Labor Day weekend stay in this cozy yet spacious home on the lake with an excellent fire pit and walk out lake access including amenities such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. The s’mores welcome package was indeed a nice touch.

The property was beautiful and it was an enjoyable stay.

Kind owners and cozy home. Something i thought was nice and interesting is they offered fresh vegetables from their greenhouse garden. All around great host and a pleasant stay was provided. Would stay again.

One word would describe all areas of this Lake house, hoest, surrounding areas is WOW!! I will definitely will be back when we plan our next trip to MI. House was spacious, clean, beautiful view, comfy beds, easy check in and out, communication is excellent with Valerie! I never asked but it was not that important / I figured it out an other way/ but there was no scissor or measuring cup. She provided curig coffee, toilet papers, paper towels, salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap.. I recommend this gem for anyone!!!

We had a wonderful visit at Fran's place - the location was easy to access if you need to stay in the area and if staying in the summer it is right on the canal to the lake. It had a cozy decor (a new couch was just purchased), clean bathroom, beds and bedrooms, and the kitchen was stocked with all cooking supplies and updated appliances if you are cooking at home and not going out. There is an area for laundry which is an added bonus. Fran is always responsive to our needs and is a great host.

Great experience. My husband rented the home for a week while working on a city project in Amherstburg. 7 men stayed at the home and they loved it. Very relaxing after a hard days work. Very clean and Brian/family were very accommodating and always there when we needed anything. Thank you again Brian, we will sure be back to rent your beautiful home again. Rhonda Vercillo

We had a great stay as a post for our trip to Ann Arbor. The house is very quiet and peaceful, although it’s less than ten minutes from downtown. The kids loved all the games available and the friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

The house is very warm, clean, quiet, and easy to find.It made us feel at home and the kids loved it.It's also convenient to go shopping at Walmart.The host is very nice and serviced.Going to this house in Windsor is our first choice next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the loft. Dylan was super helpful and responsive, and went out of his way to accommodate any of our requests. Lisa at the front desk was also friendly and helpful. This is a fantastic location for walking everywhere downtown, there are many great restaurants, markets and pubs close by. The loft is clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious. Nice layout, good wi-fi, everything like new. Good natural light and great view from the large windows. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful, tranquil home and surroundings. Clean and nicely decorated with a welcome home atmosphere. Kitchen and bathroom is well stocked. The highlight of the house is the Beautiful raised basement den with a stunning gas fireplace and a TV to get cozy in and spend family time playing games, which are provided, or watching movies. The backyard is beautiful, with patio furniture, a fire pit, and a bird feeder that brings lots of colorful birds. Beyond the backyard is a conservation area with a river which gives lots of privacy and tranquility.

Todd was very helpful with clear directions and instructions, and very friendly as well. We were staying for a family get together and felt right at home. The place was beautiful ! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of supplies provided, plenty of toilet paper paper towels and even coffee. I would recommend this place for sure 👌

Shannon’s unit was perfect for our family holiday visit. It was well stocked, clean and inviting—-from the Nest thermostat, coffee, soda/water in the fridge to the toiletries and comfy towels in the bathroom, it was just like home. We will definitely return when visiting family in the GP area. Highly recommend!

Great property. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Quiet neighbourhood but within a short drive (10 minutes or less) to almost everything we needed. Very clean, well maintained, comfy beds, great kitchen and backyard; pool table a nice touch. Easily accommodated 6 adults and one service dog. Easy check in. Well worth the $. We will stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Robin!
