Completely renovated luxury guest suite with breakfast

In 2018 we bought our dream home. During the entire renovation, we decided to furnish the annex as a guest house. We are proud of the result and would like to share it with you! The apartment is luxurious and cozily furnished with as many original materials from the old house as possible. You will like the garden with your own private terrace and sunbathing area. Our B&B studio Sleepingarden is based in rural outskirts of Vlissingen,in Ritthem. Some of the former horse stables have been converted into a complete studio. It is within walking distance of the Westerschelde where you can see the boats sailing from the garden. On the sea dike you will find a beach to swim. You can also walk in the nature reserve or view fortress Rammekens, which is also within walking distance. There is ample walking and cycling opportunity. Bicycles included

Lovely stay at Michel’s. He was happy to be there to meet us to tie in with our Eurostar timings and gave us a detailed explanation of city walking route. Breakfast was fresh, continental pastries, juice, cereal, ham, cheese etc and included more than we could eat. Room was clean, spacious and well laid out, comfy beds and pillows. No significant noise at night. Good recommendations for restaurants and nice cocktails next door. Would definitely recommend but you do need to be reasonably agile to manage steep stairs.

We had a great stay at Ellen's place! The breakfast was lovely, and everything was very clean. Ellen was welcoming and gave us helpful local recommendations, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent, with restaurants and cafés close by, as well as nice walking routes to explore. I’d happily recommend this place for a stay in Vlissingen!

We are very welcoming received. They thought along about organizational matters, was very friendly and approachable. The accommodation was great: beautiful room, beautiful new bathroom, quiet area, with the church bell raising the homely atmosphere. The package with breakfast at De Barones is also a success. In short: a wonderful stay in a beautiful location with a very friendly hostess and host. A place to return.
