Beach house vacation rentals in Waimea Bay

This was a super low-key spot to stay in the middle of a very busy part of town. Super quick to stroll to the beach and grab whatever incidentals from any one of the omnipresent ABC stores haha. Grabbed a scooter from across the street and rode to quieter area when I felt like. Super chill!

We had a great time and our accommodations were great. The beach chairs were not at the house. I contacted Nau and he responded within 20 minutes. They brought beach chairs to us for a day on the water. I did overlook that there was no air conditioning when booking, but we were there in February 2025 and the home had a lot of ceiling fans and oscillating fans making it comfortable for sleeping. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were awesome, very nice and making suggestions on things to do and eat nearby. The SUNRISE was definitely one of our favorite sites!!

As pictured - a clean spacious place in a beautiful location. The owners have really put a lot of care into setting up their unit. Great communication and service. There are a couple of very loud roosters in the neighborhood. The ac units drown most of that noise out and my kids were jet lagged and up before the roosters anyway, but I wanted to mention that in case any others are very light sleepers. My kids loved the rooster and would consider him a pro, not a con, of staying here. Also, we saw roosters everywhere so I’m guessing they are just very commonplace in the country on Oahu. We would definitely stay here again. And would 100% recommend to others.

This home was perfect for our family of 8. The location was nestled in the little countryside of punaluu right across from the beach where we were able to go swimming everyday! It was a beautiful home that was well equipped for a nice long trip. Not too far from local restaurants and grocery stores with a little country living vibe type community. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay at in an island paradise! The location was easy to get to and you could get anywhere on the island in 30 minutes or so. Unfortunately, the road was a bit noisy but all of our guests had an incredible time regardless.

We enjoyed our stay at Nola's place! The check in and check out process was easy to follow, the place was clean and very comfortable for our family, and there were plenty of places close by!

The location of this house is unbeatable. It was great that we got to walk to the beach right from the backyard. Like other review mentioned, there is a bigger house that other people can rent on the property. You will have to go through their yard to get to the beach. The amenities in the house are a little bit outdated (doors, oven, shower, mirror). To us, the location is what made that place very special. It was very quiet, peaceful, and right next to Kailua Beach.

Charlie was a great host, very communicative and had amazing recommendations. The apartment is in a fantastic location by the beach, including within the building on a high floor + corner unit. We loved the floor to ceiling views of the ocean, city, and mountains, as well as the balcony. Like others have said, the bed is very soft, and since you’re in the middle of Waikīkī, it’s not always quiet. It’s so spacious and calm otherwise. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was in the perfect location. It was the hawaiian adventure we needed. Beautiful beaches were in walking distance. We enjoyed glorious walks everyday. Peaceful home away from home. It exceeded our expectations.

Joel made us feel so welcome ! Perfect place to stay with our baby daughter and grandparents: walking distance to the beach and in close driving range to everywhere we wanted to go. Great recommendations about things to do in the area too. Loved our stay and highly recommend !

Jays place is as described. It was perfect for me traveling alone. The view over Waimea Bay from the lookout point down the path is amazing. Would definitely consider staying again.

Such a beautiful home close to the Beach. Felt very luxurious and was so clean. Anytime I’m going to Hawaii this is the place for me!

This place was truly amazing. It was impeccably clean, bright and well equipped! I loved the style and decorations...great use of a small space! We were stuck inside for an entire day due to the rain but had so much fun just chilling and relaxing and making dinner. Only negatives are the sounds of the slamming doors & stomping of the feet from the long term tenants and the occasionally revving of a car engine. We would definitely stay here again!!!

This was our first time renting this wonderful house. So much nicer than a boring hotel and beautiful views from the large kitchen windows. We had a great time staying here and were very comfortable with all the amenities. The in unit washer and dryer really came in handy. The best part of this rental is the amazing host family, so friendly and responsive whenever I had a question. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great four month stay with Son and his wife. The location was super close to Waikiki but also quiet enough to escape the city. The bus took us to the sea within 5 minutes. Everything you need was available in the Airbnb. Son was always helpful and if we needed anything, Son helped us out. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend staying with Son.

Beautiful house in a private location There were four of us in the accommodation for four nights. The house gave us all the necessary equipment for those days. We were able to do laundry on arrival, the basics were available for cooking, a huge fridge provided space for our purchases, a filled britta filter was waiting for us and the entire place made a very good impression. The location is between private houses so we were the only tourists in the corner. You should know in advance that the area overall is not very touristy, which on the one hand offers peace and quiet in front of other tourists, on the other hand, you are of course dependent on the car. All in all, the house offered everything you need and also enough space, even if you should use all the beds. We missed a hair dryer, but it was cheap in the supermarket and the next guests may be happy that we left it 😉

Great location and ease of access. We loved the view from the 12th floor and had no issues with noise or anything . It’s a little tight , but perfect if you plan to spend majority of your time outdoors.
