Such a great spot for a family weekend getaway. Beautiful, peaceful location in the woods. Fantastic indoor pool and basement game room. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. Great options for sleeping.

We had an excellent stay at Kenan's cabin! The kitchen was really well stocked. It was a cozy spot. Kenan was really accommodating. The neighbors homes are just out of frame in the photos, but the neighbors directly next door were not home so it was pretty private. The airstream might not work well for people who are sensitive to air quality. The lake was about waist deep at the end of the dock, so no diving, and a mucky walk to deeper waters. There is some sand closer to shore, but no beach. Bring wood for bonfires to be safe, but it may have been restocked. It is a 50 minute drive from the cabin to Itasca State Park. The river was not accessible. There were many stairs to get to the lake. If you are looking for a place with many beds and a beautiful view, I highly recommend it. Thanks for having us!

This place was awesome. A group of 10 of us stayed and had a great time hanging out in the very private location. The log cabin was very cool. The hot tub was massive was able to fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately it was negative 6 degrees the entire time we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit outside but it was perfect for hot tubing, hanging out inside and playing games. There was a couple of cool towny bars closeish that we stop at on the way up but once there didn't feel the need to leave. We went hiking down the frozen river for 2 of the days and it was very cool. The way down to the river is a little steep so highly recommend good boots. We went slow but everyone felt comfortable getting down there. The other recommendation is to plan ahead with meals cause it about a 20 min drive to the nearest grocery store. We made all of the our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed for utensils and kitchen stuff. The 3 full bathrooms was clutch. The group said mult

This is a the perfect place to come unplug for a few days. Very private but spacious cabin, could easily host a group without feeling crowded. We love that this cabin is tucked back in the trees and makes you feel like your a million miles from anywhere, when in fact your just a few minute drive away from many activities or town. The cabin hosts were easy to get ahold of and communicate with, and resolved any issue promptly. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great place! Clean, quiet, would be a great place to stay in the summer if you like to golf too!

We loved this place! The house and bunkhouse worked great for our family of 9. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had a couple of minor mishaps, but the hosts responded immediately and the issues were resolved very quickly. The big yard was great for outdoor games, and we enjoyed the firepit at night. The hosts also recommended a place to rent a pontoon, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the owners of the rental place were extremely kind and accomodating. The lake was very weedy, but we were able to find clear areas out in the middle with the pontoon, where we swam and floated around on floaties. A few of our family members did a little fishing from the pontoon and caught some very nice size pan-fish and a good size northern also. Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10, only because of the lake. Beautiful new home, clealy a lot of thought went into the details. Sherri communicated very well, friendly, helpful and productive. It snowed when we arrived and they had salted slippery spots on the sidewalk. Sherri created a very helpful binder left on the kitchen counter with clear instructions, places to eat, things to do and a very nice page introducing herself. There was also a garage door opener left which was very helpful and welcoming. Sherri even reached out during the visit to ensure we were enjoying our stay and if weneeded anything. The home was pristine and cozy with basic kitchen items supplied. The heated floors were definitely a treat! Would definitely recomend booking this property with Sherri and Greg!
