Vacation rentals with lake access in Wadden Sea

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

If you are on Retro, a highly recommended location. Wonderful to relax and unwind. Will we repeat in the summer and then it's on the water 😎

Our stay at Natalia's place was simply amazing! The apartment is cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with lovely details that made our stay extra special. The sauna and the fireplace were perfect for relaxing evenings and added to the wonderful atmosphere. A particularly delightful highlight was the warm welcome: a bottle of champagne for us and a chew bone for our dog Käthe – such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel instantly at home! The location by the lake is fantastic, and the surrounding area offers so much to explore. We especially loved the many nature reserves within a 50 km radius, which were perfect for day trips with our dog. Käthe had a great time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the stunning natural beauty. Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Very nice and well-kept house with everything you need. You feel right at home upon arrival. The location is fantastically quiet and located on the water. Looking at the water with the first coffee in the morning was soooo great. Very nice contact with Wouter, always quick response. I'd love to come back anytime.

We were on site over New Year's Eve and were totally happy with the location and quiet surroundings. The house is well equipped and we felt right at home. With the cold temperatures, the oven has a pleasant atmosphere. We can highly recommend the house.

Great placeto go in Summer. it is located in a beautiful village in Netherlands. Property is Big enough for even 4 adults. Supermarket is around 5 kms.

Perfect place for a short trip, very clean and very nice contact. I felt very welcome there and felt very comfortable there.

Also suitable for winter: Beautiful view with large panoramic window and underfloor heating. Very carefully and practical furnishings: E.G. folding stool and well-labeled switches. Easily accessible by bike: Remels/Uplengen and Augustfehn - along the canal (there recommended Gardeur outlet). Other beautiful bike routes overlooking the water, e.g. along the Fehn route.

Alida is an amazing host. The place looked amazing and felt very homie. My friends and I felt very comfortable and safe! I struggled a little bit with opening the gate to park the car, Alida helped us out remotely and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our time. Overall, great stay! I plan to come back during the summer, and I hope to stay there again.

We had a nice and quiet time at Heiko & Ina's place. Everything was as described and we felt very comfortable in the cute little cottage 😊 The kitchen has everything you need and the cottage is very cozy overall. Since the weather was unfortunately not quite as good, my grandmother and I read a lot but that's exactly what our extended weekend was for.

We had a very nice stay at the summer house. It was really cozy. We were there in mid-November and the snow made everything more beautiful again❄️ The nearby swimming pool is very nice. The supermarket was very well equipped. Small cities are easily accessible by car and very nice for excursions. We'll be back🥰

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

I highly recommend, Nicolas beautiful home! It’s in a lovely and beautiful neighbourhood, really safe too. The house is lovely just like in the pictures, we really enjoyed our stay! It’s a great place for families with kids, Nicolas is a great host very responsive and kind.

A beautiful place on the water, from the cottage you look out over the water and there is also a nice seat on the water. The food at the Duck is highly recommended!

The owner was very responsive! The place was very very beautiful and clean. One of the best airbnbs that we stayed. I would recommend anyone to come stay! However, you do need a car while transporting around here.

We immediately felt at home at Tineke's place! The house has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished! Even in winter it was cuddly warm, thanks to infrared, central heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom and the fireplace! We used the wood heated hot tub as well as the sauna and were delighted! :) You can really relax here! The house is thoughtful and wonderfully divided. The property is located away from the nearest road, which can be reached via an easily accessible dirt road. So you only have nature, birds and tranquility around you. We would keep coming back because the AirBnB really has everything you need for an alternative and quiet holiday! Thanks for the hospitality and providing this wonderful place!
