The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

We loved our stay. You can walk into the woods in no time and the sauna after it was wonderful! The cottage is beautiful and cozy. We'd love to come back sometime.

We really liked the house! The location is wonderfully quiet and idyllic – perfect for unwinding. Especially the river directly on the property makes the stay extra special. The house itself is very nice, clean and ideal for a relaxing holiday. We felt completely comfortable!

Stayed here with friends for a week. House was perfect, with plenty of space and a lovely garden with hot tub. Was a great location for exploring the Netherlands. Highly recommended!

Our stay in this beautiful, idyllic farmhouse was just perfect. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home. The breakfast was a dream, lovingly prepared and incredibly delicious with attention to detail. Johan and Imi were very friendly, attentive and always there for us. We had a wonderful stay at Jill's place. The location was amazing - located right on the water, overlooking the sea. The beach is within 5 minutes walking distance. In the resort, you could rent a boat and dock directly at your own jetty at the house and a few meters further out directly onto the sea. We will be happy to come back. :-)
