I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was! This beautiful home is a reflection of the warmth that Jackie showed us throughout our stay. This is the quietest, most peaceful stay we’ve ever had. The property is so peaceful, the trails were an amazing added bonus and our dog had the time of his life here as well. We were so impressed with the length that Jackie and Jared went to making this home so welcoming, comfortable, cozy, peaceful and fun. We truly felt at home. I hope to visit again. My son and I loved everything about this place and my son kept remarking too about how peaceful it is. Truly so kind for them to share this gem with others. You will not be disappointed. We also loved being so close to the parks we wanted to visit. I am so grateful we got to experience nature and have a soft place to land at the end of the day. The only way that Velvet’s place didn’t match the description was that it far exceeded expectations. A lovely stay, a comfy town, wonderful trip! Highly recommend!

Would absolutely recommend! The house was so clean. We did not bring kids but we want to in the future because it looks so fun for them with the bunk bed room. The house was very clean and Dean left a lovely welcome package. Would absolutely recommend if you are looking for something close to Hocking hills. It was roughly 25-30 mins to the big name attractions.

The house was very welcoming and cozy, they had accommodations for little ones which we loved. We have a 6 month old so the seat and the utensils were very handy. They also had a portable pack and play for the baby. If you’re looking for a nice weekend getaway this Airbnb is worth it! We will definitely be booking here for future visits

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

A great opportunity to have a peaceful weekend retreat. The apartment was extremely clean and cozy. I felt very fortunate to be welcomed in such nice living quarters with a pleasant view of the pond. Seeing the birds, fish, and other critters in the area made the experience even more enjoyable.

Perfect place for my daughter’s college visit to OU. Right up the road, plenty of food choices. Michele was very responsive and helpful when I had any questions. Great place for the night. Clean and organized.

This was our 4th time staying at this property to visit family in the area. We love the location and being able to see the Christmas lights in the park. Seth is always very responsive when we have any issues that arise and they have always been minor, no major concerns. Looking forward to our next stay at Head Above Water!

Angie was incredibly kind and responsive, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. The location was perfect for what we needed, and the space was more than enough for our big group. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was spacious, making it the perfect spot for our trip!

Ashley’s place was great for our family trip to Athens to visit my brother who is a student at Ohio University. The location is great there’s a lot in the area that’s walkable from the place. It was quiet and easy to access. Would definitely recommend this property and host to others who are looking to stay in the area!

We stay here when we come down to Athens for every Thanksgiving with my girlfriend's son and daughter-in-law. Never been disappointed. Very comfortable with all the amenities you'd want.

The townhome was homey and accommodating. This was the perfect place to stay close to town and made you feel at home. The beds were so comfortable and the place nice and clean. You have everything you need there. Highly recommend.

A few college friends and myself rang in the New Year in Athens and stayed in this airbnb. Newly renovated, plenty of space for 6 people and several nice amenities. The hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The loft was quit and had a restaurant located on sight. I would definitely recommend and will stay again soon.

Place was very nice. The queen bed was way to firm for our liking.. my husband and I switched rooms with the kids because of it. Had trouble with the door code when checking in.. there is no service so we had to drive up the road to get service to communicate with Nick. At which time he was very helpful and got us right in.
