Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Vikna Municipality

Our stay at Vidar and Hilde's cottage was amazing. The inside was clean and fresh. Comfortable couches and recliners in the living room. The bed had thick duvets to use at night. There was a view of the fjord from the living room window which was so nice. The cottage was warm and cozy during our stay. Both Vidar and Hilde were available when ever we had a question or for just a chat. Very nice couple. Before we arrived there had been some snow and ice on the road to the cottage but Vidar took care of it by plowing and putting out sand. Very kind and thoughtful of him. Fresh eggs from the farm chickens and fresh milk from the dairy cows was in the refrigerator waiting for us to use. There is a big patio outside, which we will have to come back in the summer time and use. We recommend this cottage to everyone.

We had some really nice days at Leitet. Cozy little space, with nice outdoor areas. Nice to have a place so close to the sea, where the kids had a lot of fun. Thanks for now, we hope to come back another time!😊

This Airbnb is literally a once in a life time experience. Rarely do you stop in awe up on checking into an Airbnb but the view here is just out of this world. We absolutely loved waving the Norwegian flag at the boat going by and sitting by the fire in true hygge style. The hosts are amazing offering tips and answering all questions asked with lots of detailed info! We stayed an extra night we loved it here so much! We went for a two hikes suggested by the hosts and had great views. We also caught two mackerel in front of the Airbnb off of the rocks! Being able to bring our Golden Retriever and share the view with her also made it more memorable! Thank you for everything and I’m envious of all of you still yet to enjoy this place! Maybe one day we will be back!

Dog friendly, great, quiet location, perfect place to stay

The cabin is located in a quiet and nice place with a view over the bay. You can take walks on the island. Neighbors are very friendly and easy to talk to. Rorvik, a nice and small village, is a 15-minute drive from the cabin. There you will find a shopping mall, bakery, lovely church, musuem,... The host is responsive and helpful. Easy to communicate with.

This place is a bit like a fairy land, and the house itself is cosy and comfortable with a good ratio of having personal stuff in it and empty space for guests. If you want to chill for a while in a farm nearby the sea, I can really recommend it.
