The apartment was a dream for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation in an idyllic, rural environment. Surrounded by beautiful nature, we were able to completely switch off here and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind us. The apartment itself was lovingly decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We were particularly enthusiastic about the magnificent view in the morning: in addition to the wide fields and meadows, we could watch the lively hustle and bustle on the small farm. Chickens and goats were in the enclosure early on, and the horses that live on the farm provided a special atmosphere when they trapped through the meadows. The proximity to nature and the animals gave us a real feeling of country life – just perfect for unwinding!

Jacqueline and her friend were very friendly hosts with whom we were able to chat quickly. They're really at your disposal. The accommodation, despite the outside heat, remains at a very cool and pleasant temperature, even without air conditioning. We recommend this place without moderation. Pleasant and relaxing stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Laurens Castle. The apartment is even better than what the listing shows. It's spacious, clean, and with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and meadows. The pool is well maintained and helps to get through the hot days of August better. The Cantal region has loved us and is ideal if you are looking to relax, bathe in beautiful lakes and walk through the forests and mountains around the Puy Mary. Accommodation located in a house divided into two parts, one for stays the other for the owners. The balcony extends over both parts. A staircase is to be climbed to access the interior of the unit. The view from the balcony overlooks the Argentat sur Dordogne dam. It is possible to walk to the waterfront after crossing a field. A lot of work was done to rehabilitate this old house, work is underway, especially on the exteriors and the balcony area. The interior of the home has been tastefully redone. A fairly steep staircase provides access to the very pleasant large bedroom. Access to Argentat by bike through the dam, for example. The accommodation is located in a hamlet of a few houses. It may be possible to access the dam lake by the road that crosses the hamlet, so you can be in a loop above the dam.

We did not meet Rachel and Christophe personally but their availability, their kindness on the phone, pleasantly surprised us. The place is magical, the view is breathtaking, as well as the peace and quiet. Couldn't have been a better place to celebrate the new year! We were delighted and fell in love with this heavenly place. Although the path to access is original, you have to deserve to see this view... that really, I would recommend it! The accommodation was cozy, very charming and pleasant. We were 4 with 3 dogs and we did not have despite the space, the effect of being on top of each other. Thank you again!

An extraordinary stay at 4 for 2 weeks in Aveyron. In a real green setting carefully maintained, peaceful, by the river, the cottage was designed to make you feel at home. In addition, the converted barn open to the garden, the riverside barbecue or the hammock are some of the elements that make the stay even more enjoyable. Everything is done by Robert to make us feel at ease and make the most of our stay. Friendly, smiling and available to answer our questions, he shares with us the love he has for this pretty corner of Aveyron. If you're still a little hesitant, don't hesitate!:)
