Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Viagrande

Benny is an incredible host. We had a wonderful two days there. His place is in a great location and we loved everything about it! We also went to CutìLuDissi which is his and his business partner’s restaurant. It is located right where everything is happening and the entire meal was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!🇮🇹

We spent three nights at Laura’s and wish we’d spent longer. Her place is a close walking distance to everything, and super comfortable. The large patio was the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. Laura was also a great host and we appreciated her restaurant recommendations. Grazie Mille !!

This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

Everything was perfect! The apartment was so beautiful with an amazing view from the terrace where we could enjoy our dinner. Our co-host Lena was just perfect, she picked us up from the train station and was so helpful with everything, she gave us a lot of nice recommendations. Acireale is a cute city with very good food spots! A car is recommended to explore the beaches and places nearby because acireale itself doesn’t have a beach to spend the whole day at. Grazie Mille for everything!! We had the best time!

The house was great, and the gardens and grounds with pool were absolutely outstanding, with the most wonderful views of the coastline, and easy access to Mount Etna too, I would definitely come again (when the weather is warmer!). Our Host, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful and was incredibly proud of her home country and the local area, and was super responsive for anything we needed.

Loved our stay at Vincenzo’s place. Very roomy, spotlessly clean and peaceful. Would definitely recommend Vincenzo’s place when visiting the east of Sicily. Car recommended, then from there, there is lovely places to visit within easy reach .Lovely hosts as well .

Giovanna went above & beyond as a host~ from providing a stocked kitchen, chocolates; extra towels, extra blankets; to picking me up at the bustop; to lending me scissors; to helping me organize a last minute trip to Etna ; how to get back to Catania; she was absolutely wonderful. And the place is a Paradise~ the photos do not do it justice!! The shower was heavenly, the bed was heavenly, waking up making coffee in the sweet kitchen to have on the sunny terrace was heavenly… 5 stars are not enough: Giovanna & her place deserve 500 stars!

Mario’s place was in a great location, within walking distance of the town centre. Spectacular views from the balcony. Parking was an issue, in the end we just parked in one of the car parks for the duration of the stay. Highly recommend.

Walter's place is simply wonderful, very clean and spacious, it offers all the necessary comforts. The large terrace offers the opportunity to spend even outside pleasant moments of the day, from breakfast to dinner, as it has sun loungers/chairs and table where you can eat, barbecue and a large umbrella. The view you enjoy is great. Walter was very kind to offer us a welcome and provide us with a lot of useful information.

The apartment is spacious and includes a beautiful terrace view of the sea. Walkable to most sites. Parking on premises a huge plus for a rental car. Roberto is very responsive and helpful. Great value for money.

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Guiseppe is a fantastic host, very caring and kind, he made our trip so stress free and cannot thank him enough. The heart of a country is in its people and compared to rest of Italy I have to say Catania surpassed my expectations. The apartment is pristine clean and Cosy. I would recommend to anyone who wants privacy and calm. The pool is delightful with views all around. The water clean and warm. The train service to Catania central is easy and non complicated, it does help to have a car in Giarre to get around. As I have eye disability I didn’t get a car and mine was a short relaxing break anyway. But contact the host and he can arrange everything. It’s been amazing and I def want to come back and enjoy the people and culture again. The Ionian Sea delightful and best place is Aci Castello, Aci Trezza and Santa Catania to visit and swim.

Sabrina’s casa is absolutely delightful. A gem of a find, we loved the space and the amenities. It’s comfortable, well maintained and kitted out with whatever one could need. We spent hours on the balcony, enjoying the unblocked sea view and only wished we’d had a few more days to spend there. If we go Taormina again, we will definitely try to book Sabrina’s. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place. Right in the center of it all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alessandra's place. She was even waiting for us at 11.30 pm, we had a late flight, to show her apartment. Everything was within walking distance and the car could be parked at the house. Great! Alessandra had also brought the first necessities into the house. In short, definitely recommended to book this stay.

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Everything was extremely lovely, we had the best time (maybe too good) at the villa. Our cell signal was not always good, but that was kind of a plus for this vacation. Our group of eleven Americans was very comfortable and Cristina and the team at the property were so accommodating and understanding. I can’t rate this place high enough, you will not regret your stay here.

We had a fantastic stay in Paul’s house. The house is beautiful, large and well equipped. It has a wonderful and specific charm that makes it an ideal base for both spending time there and discovering the area (for us, from Syracuse to Taormina). Paul was a great host, very easy to communicate with. Very much recommended

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

Amazing stay in a perfect villa with the BEST hosts! Isabella was so communicative, very helpful with recommendations ( including local arancini festival) and flexible with check in/out. Villa was great and she also arranged for a pizza chef to come in one night and cook some amazing pizzas. We did have 2 cars and used them every day as not much is walking distance, but Villa is very well located for trips to beach, Taormina, suracuse & Etna … and in such a lovely Villa we had little reason to leave! Thanks again and hope to stay again soon 😀

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !

Villa Lou is stunning. In a peaceful area, doesnt have any noise. We woke upto birds chirping with amazing views daily. The place was reasonably stocked. There are stairs inside the property, shortest access to the main street of Taormina also has stairs- toddlers and seniors need to be aware (but this true for most of taormina places) Lou gave us restaurant recommendations and was super easy to reach- we loved it and would love to stay here again!

If you are visiting the Catania area, this is the place to stay! Our host was very kind, responsive and flexible with both check in and check out. He allowed us to stay a few hours after checkout as our flight did not leave until later in the night. House was super clean- this was the only house throughout our European travels that we felt was squeaky clean. The house was very spacious and in a great area. There’s lots of places that are walkable and you can even get down to the ocean in two minutes! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.
