Beach house vacation rentals in Venice Beach

Enjoyed our family getaway of 5 days. The home accommodated all our needs and the gourmet kitchen was welcomed by all especially our sons (one who is a professional chef visiting from New York). A car is needed to go to restaurants/shopping as it is located on a hillside (which offers breathtaking views of the ocean). The home was well stocked and very clean. Recommend this home for a restful getaway.

A welcoming place with the little extra amenities that make it feel friendly. The books and games were perfect for our 7 and 8 year olds. We loved walking to the beach every day and being so close to Golden Gate Park, where we visited lakes, casting pools, bison, Blue Boat playground which is nearby and the big Children’s playground closer to the east end of the park. Having the driveway to park the car was handy. We didn’t bother going downtown. The best parts of San Francisco are the neighborhoods.

really love this house. I seem to choose it every time I go to Pacifica. it's quiet, clean, and within walking distance of stores.

Great place. Clean. Quiet once inside. Well equipped kitchen. Responsive host. Ten minute walk to huge supermarket, two minute walk to a small park. The big living room shelving and tall dining table and chairs make the small living room feel smaller. But it served us well. I savored the privacy.

My husband and I had a great start to our Cali vacation at Sigwards home. He had great recommendations of things to do nearby, many of which we did and he was always very responsive. The house was small, private, peaceful, and romantic. The views were incredible and it was so nice to soak in the hot tub and then enjoy a fire in the fireplace. My husband had fun driving the super curvy roads to get to the house. We definitely did not want to leave.

Beautiful and comfortable. Two families of four stayed here for a long weekend. It was a good base for gentle adventures along the slow coast. We enjoyed hiking the Pillar Point Bluff Trail, just a 5 minute walk away, and at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, just a 5 minute drive away. It was also a great location to pick up Dungeness crabs from the boats at the harbor, and we steamed them up in the Airbnb kitchen. The crabs made for a great dinner, along with artichoke bread from Arcangeli Grocery in Pescadero.

Really great place to explore San Francisco and Marin Country. Great weekend activity: Walk to Sports Basement, rent bikes to cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge, have lunch in Sausalito and take the ferry back to the Ferry Building in SF.

A beautiful house, we had a lovely stay in the most beautiful setting, what an incredible area. Trish was easy to communicate which made everything really easy, even though it was short notice. Trish was really helpful with dropping off bags early. Thank you so much!

Jun’s place was just what we needed for our stay! Everything was good. The only thing i can say is that i wish there had been more extra blankets and sheets. Besides that, it was clean and well equipped.

The house is absolutely amazing. It’s a short drive to restaurants and shops. The walk to the beach is only a couple of minutes. The ambiance of the house is warm and cozy. So many amenities were available including the indoor fireplace, the outdoor grill and fire pit, as well as bikes for the family. The outdoor space is perfect for dining. Even though it was a bit cold, the outdoor heater made it warm enough to stay outside at night. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Absolutely loved the house and we really hope to come again.

My family and I absolutely loved staying here. It's in a gorgeous location with a view of the ocean from the deck. You can hear the waves in the distance. There's a hot tub that's in a beautiful spot beside a running creek with a waterfall. The house is clean, spacious, and very quiet. There's a wonderful little trail from the house that connects to the Mt Davis Trail, which is one of my favorite trails on Mt Tam, and is a beautiful little walk to town. Annie was wonderful - friendly, kind, helpful, and flexible. Would definitely stay again.

This is the 3rd Stinson house we have rented and the best! The location: on the beach, closest to town possible, easy parking, beautiful views from inside or out, perfect interior layout. We rent 3 to 4 house each year for our family of 7, ( I figure cheaper and more flexible than owning a vacation home) Tahoe for Christmas, Santa Cruz before Thanksgiving, Lake Arrowhead this summer and Hawaii for Thanksgiving 2025. Unlike a lot of places we stay, Jeff's place had good stuff! Beach chairs/toys, fry pans and utensils and good kitchen lighting! The place feels well cared for and supported! We hope to be back soon!

Great location, walking distance to go watch the sunset from the bluff of the ocean. The house being at the end of the street was a plus. Home felt very private and you can hear the waves crashing…Both Guliz and Matt were very helpful and quick to respond to our needs.🥰 My partner is in a wheelchair, but easy to bump him up the one step into the house. Our lab loved the doggy friendly home and the large yard to play fetch! 🐶 We will be back~

Ruth’s place was absolutely beautiful! She left clear instructions and a beautiful personal card welcoming us to her home. So well stocked of everything you could possibly need. So helpful with a map for walks and areas to see! So clean and modern! I kept telling my husband that I want a home just like Ruth’s!!! So beautiful, so clean, so updated, and just absolutely perfect!!! There is not one bad thing I can say. PERFECT!!! ❤️❤️❤️

A wonderful stay in a fantastic location! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved that it had 5 bathrooms! Sandra was very accommodating and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. In spite of how steep the driveway was, we were able to park both of our SUVs at the top of the driveway. We just had to do it slowly and carefully, and use our rear cameras!

Jennifer was a great host! She was super responsive and proactive when we messaged her throughout our stay. Our pup loved the dog door to the yard and walks at Thornton (2 min drive). It was easy to get to the city (quick drive to BART or driving).

We stay in Alameda about once a year to visit my brother. Gabrielle's place was super convenient to where lives, and far more comfortable than comparable places we've stayed in the past. The view of the lagoon was a bonus! The bathroom and kitchen were both quite functional, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The living room with the gas fireplace was a nice place to hang out and read; I enjoyed flipping through the books on Alameda history and architecture. Although this unit permits dogs, it didn't smell doggy or have signs of prior dog guests. We were worried that the hospital next door would mean noise ... but it was super quiet. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Alameda and wanting to be near Park St!

Great little spot in walking distance to the beach. Christine was great with communication and helpful with an early check-in! The house was clean and was comfortable for seven of us!

Very convenient location. Easy access to freeway, food,etc. House was very clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for family of 4.

Mel's place was great--exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen with all the amenities. Mel was very easy to work with and extremely prompt in responding to a question about a tripped circuit breaker--I had the instructions I needed within 5 minutes of sending her a message. A great place to stay and close to everything you want in the Pacifica/San Francisco area. I highly recommend Mel's place!

A nice apartment. A big plus was that there were multiple power strips placed in the bedrooms and in the living room to easily plug in computers and chargers. Very good and comfortable beds. Good parking for the car. Despite a lot of traffic on the road outside, there was nothing that disturbed. A good accommodation.
