We had a brilliant stay at this country house on Vega. The location was outstanding, just 30 meters from the sea and with a magnificent view of the mountains in Helgeland. The big flat was a favorite, where we spent a lot of time enjoying the silence and the beautiful nature around us. The cleanliness was impeccable – everything was sparkling clean and ready to use when we arrived. Communication with the host was also nothing to put off. Kay was always quick to respond and gave us great advice on what to do in the area. The country house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped and the large kitchen island made cooking a social and enjoyable activity, especially with the amazing view through the large panoramic windows. The bathroom was great with both a shower corner and a bathtub. I would definitely recommend this country place to others. The great location, the proximity to the sea, and the amazing flat, as well as the panoramic view made our stay unforgettable.

Cozy townhouse at the sea!

We had a very nice stay at Camilla's house. We got a lot of great local tips from her. One day we went into the city center and got us fresh shrimp. We could enjoy these at the edge of the sea on the porch in a lovely evening sun. Absolutely amazing. ☀️ Otherwise, the space was impeccable. Very convenient and close to the city centre.

Unique and modern cottage on the Helgeland coast

We, two families with children aged 7-11, had a great stay with Petter on Brasøy. The location is lovely, there are many amenities to be able to make up things and experience the great nature in the community and the cabin is great. We gladly came back!

Great cottage just by the water in Nes where we enjoyed wonderful sunsets from the jetty just outside. The cottage was clean, cozy and had everything needed. Very functional. Great with large bathroom and washing machine. Around the corner there was a cafe, boat rental and activity hall for children. We had wonderful days in the cabin and highly recommend it.

We had a great time in Jarl Stian's house! There is a lovely and good atmosphere there, with very homely decor. It is a fantastic place, with a short distance to the beach, fishing opportunities and kayak trips. We were able to enjoy both the morning sun and the sunset from the house. We would gladly came back there.

This cabin is great. It’s cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. It’s perfect for a couple. For more people - or if you want a wider bed - you would need to use the annexe. The location is incredibly peaceful. Good walks nearby - especially by the sea from Sundsvoll towards Vegdalen. Signe was helpful and quick to respond. We were very happy to stay here.

After 2 weeks with a lot of hikes in Tromso & Lofoten, we searched for a peaceful and isolated place. Vega Island and Cato’ house it was definetely an excellent choice.

A sandy beach is framed by gentle waves lapping at the shore, with mountains rising in the background. The clear blue sky overhead reflects a serene atmosphere, while the footprints in the sand suggest recent visitors to this tranquil coastal area.

Cozy house with a lot of space. Nice with its own laundry room with toilet, and large garden with barbecue. Host was nice and always responded quickly.
