Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vecht

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the VT living style bungalow. The bungalow is beautifully decorated, equipped with all the comforts and even has a fireplace. We also had a nice time in the evening. The owners are very friendly and respond with enthusiasm and quick. We'd love to come back.

The place is small and very cozy, exactly as described. Surroundings are quiet (and above all beautiful!) but within a few minutes you are back in the city by car - ideal location for a trip to Haarlem, Zandvoort or Amsterdam. Ruud lives right next door, is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and say thank you! :)

What a wonderful place right on the entrance to the Schoorlse Duinen. The spacious garden makes you feel in nature anyway. The house is lightly dated, but very cozily decorated, you feel at home without effort. Sabine is a nice host, who prepared a bottle of apple juice and a bottle of wine as a welcome. Also very much appreciated: of all the necessities for cooking, laundry and dishes there was ample available. We'd love to come back here again.

We were allowed to use Samantha's cottage with old and new. Our dog is very afraid of fireworks and the park is quiet. The pops from Ermelo could be heard of course, but the forest dampened a lot. We enjoyed the fireplace, the jacuzzi and the nice surroundings and immediately booked again for next year. We (including our dog) are fans!

The place itself is amazing and has many cool amenities to enjoy such as the fireplace and jacuzzi. It was clean and everything one could need was provided in good quantities. Remco is a wonderful and responsive host. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill getaway!

A warm welcome by Corrie which made us feel very welcome. We had a family weekend and we enjoyed the lovely house and beautiful surroundings. We lacked nothing, everything was amply present. Very nice that we were able to reschedule the time of check-out. In short, we had a wonderful time, partly thanks to this nice house!!

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

One of the best stays I’ve had so far! Luba was a superb host. The apartment is even more gorgeous in person and it was a privilege to stay in such a wonderful place. We felt right at home and Luba made sure we knew how everything worked. She also provided a comprehensive list of places to eat and things to do that did not disappoint. We hope we get a chance to visit again. Thank you Luba!

We had a fabulous stay at Otto’s and would definitely recommend. His home is very clean & comfortable and has everything needed for a long weekend. The neighbourhood is quite with lots of great bars and cafes by the water. Thanks again for the wine & chocolates!

The three of us stayed here before a sports event. It was all as described. Well furnished, well maintained, clean. We were very pleased!

It was really beautiful! A very well-kept and well-coordinated accommodation, which guarantees a feeling of well-being with the fireplace, the large rain shower, the quiet location and the rural surroundings. It was a cozy, warm and comfortable accommodation. It is located in a very peaceful hill with a nice view of the see. Especially it takes only 10 min by slow walk to the Ijmuiden beach, everyday, we could see and walk at the wide beach. There are always several people to walk or jog with dogs, families, and friends. They are also very kind to greet each other with a smile. It was also very comfortable to go to supermarket, or other netherland cities. Most of all, the host, Julie is very wonderfully kind. She replied to my question very quickly even at Christmas days. Thanks a lot. I would like to stay here later again in Summer (good weather).

Spacious apartment, close to the city center. Parking is available free of charge in front of the door until 12 noon, then with a parking ticket. Shopping within walking distance. Gelredome in 20 minutes by car.

Cozy and complete apartment in a prime location in the heart of Deventer. Jelmer is a thoughtful host who makes you feel welcome and responds quickly to questions.

Great, cozy place to stay in if you want something close to Amsterdam, but nice and quiet. Great to be on the water, supermarket/shops in a nice picturesque town 5 mins from the house and you’ll drive into Amsterdam in 10 mins. Host super responsive and smooth and flexible checkin and checkout. Recommend!

The home is very nice. Spacious, but doesn’t feel huge (which is good). Beds were okay considering the price. The surroundings are very nice, peaceful and private. Nice big garden as well and enough space for dinner with the two big tables. There are some minor finishing things that could be improved (holes in the wall where outlets used to be, a lamp fixture on the ceiling that just has wires sticking out and outlet covers that come loose), but overall it is very well maintained and everything is in working order. We did not find scissors or a dishwashing brush, so had to get those ourselves. Taking everything into account it was an excellent weekend and would definitely recommend this home for larger groups.

Leontien was very friendly. The house was like a dream. It was beautifully decorated. It was big. We stayed with 6 people. It was very comfortable. It was very clean. The house had everything you needed (napkins, cotton, olive oil, spices; toaster, kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer etc.) We went in winter and it was warm, we had no problems with the heating. You can take a short walk to the center of Amsterdam and then take the train or bus. It takes 10 minutes by train, two stops. It takes half an hour by bus. (GVB buses do not pass near the house though.) There are supermarkets near the house (Dirk etc.) You can come from the airport by train with two transfers (7.5 euros). It was a wonderful holiday for us. Leontien and his house are really amazing! You can rent it without any worries! We will recommend it to everyone!
