Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Vásquez de Coronado

Pasamos unos días en la casa de Rodolfo para participar en un coloquio en la Universidad de Costa Rica. La casa queda a 10 minutos caminando de la UCR, tiene supermercados, restaurantes, etc. muy cerca. Es grande, agradable, limpia, con todos los equipos necesarios. Uno se siente realmente en casa! Rodolfo siempre ha sido muy disponible y simpatico. Es una excelente opción

We stopped here for one night after landing in San Jose on our way to the next location. The driveway was a little intimidating (we did it in the dark) but doable. María was very responsive and helpful getting us checked in, and the space was clean and comfortable. The views were incredible, overlooking the city was a pretty surreal welcome to Costa Rica!

David war super hilfsbereit und flexibel bezüglich des Check-Ins. Das Appartement liegt in bester Stadtlage. Es ist so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Lustig sind die beiden Balkone, von denen aus man das Treiben der Stadt beobachten kann. Ja, es ist etwas laut, aber das sollte jedem bei dieser Lage klar sein. Das Bett könnte etwas bequemer sein. Durchaus zu empfehlen (wie auch das Take-away-Restaurant unten im Gebäude).

very peaceful location - close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. the cabin is rustic country with everything you need for an extended stay.

I had a great stay here. The kitchen had everything you could wish for, there was not one but two coffee makers and a blender. The private garden was nice and I enjoyed making use of the pool and gym. The only slight downside is that there are a lot of dogs in the building so it is inevitable to hear a bit of barking, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay in San Jose!

Wir haben 2 Monate dort gewohnt während unseres Praktikums. Wir haben uns direkt gefühlt wie zuhause. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, immer hilfsbereit, einfach ganz tolle Menschen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man so zum Leben braucht. Ich kann diese Unterkunft aus vollem Herzen weiter empfehlen!

Jorge was very communicative and helpful. We had a small issue with a broken lock and he kindly drove over to fix it. Houses don’t weather well in Costa Rica and the house has a few areas of wear and tear, but there are far more positive than negative aspects. It is spacious, modern, very clean and decently equipped. The bedrooms are a real positive as they’re large and the beds are very comfortable with spotless linen. The bathrooms are fine (there’s lots of them!) and the water pressure and temperature are both good. The seating area in the open plan kitchen is comfy, the furniture is really clean and the TV has Netflix etc. The house is well placed for visiting lots of local attractions and there are some nice restaurants very close by. The neighbourhood is quiet and family orientated and felt super safe. It is naturally windy and cool compared to other local neighbourhoods. Thank you very much, Jorge. This is a very nice, clean home in a great location. The rental team staff were extremely responsive and helpful. That being said, the listing is not clear on a couple things. It says there is air conditioning....but there is only 1 air conditioner in 1 of the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in the other bedrooms. The window/doors do not have screens, so if you leave them open for cool breezes, bugs can fly inside. The listing does not mention the extremely loud train that runs right behind the house Monday thru Friday. The train goes by several times each morning starting at 5:30 am and blows its horn 3-4 times as it crosses a nearby street. The house even shakes a little. It will wake you up, so no need for an alarm clock.

Hands down the best air bnb experience I have ever had from the host, the accomodations, the communication and even the staff she hires to clean the house and offers to have cook. The owner was amazingly fast responding and following through something as small as a flickering light that wont go off she was on top of and had staff to fix it immediately. The person she had working at the house to clean and offers to cook is so inviting and added that at home feel and we couldn't have been happier as a group. This will always be my first go to place in Costa Rica to stay because I am always in San Jose. I have zero complaints and just a big thank you for everything.

Fantastic house for anyone visiting San Jose. We wish we could have stayed for longer as one night was not enough. We instantly felt at home. The main bathroom is huge and perfect for a slow morning getting ready for the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had a much needed rest. We would definitely stay here again.

Daniel and his team were amazing hosts! They were incredibly kind, always helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Very nice view and private clean apartment with all things necessary to stay over. Spent new years there watching the fireworks and it was very beautiful.

Lage, Sauberkeit, Kommunikation, einfach alles super. Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

David is extremely helpful and does his best to make you feel at home. The flat is in a very central location, very clean, beds and pillows comfortable, wifi perfect, the balcony is a bonus. Recommended to everyone.

Tudo na Costa Rica é incrível e como não seria Janet e seu apartamento? Muito bem localizado, apartamento amplo e confortável com tudo que se precisa para ter uma ótima estadia, tanto curta quanto longa! A anfitriã é excelente, muito simpática, se você for brasileiro como eu, não tenha medo de seu portunhol, ela se esforça bem para entender, bem como fala inglês muito bem. Eu viajo muito pela América Latina e Europa e recomendo 100%! Gracias, Janet!

Ricardo’s place is great! San Jose downtown as well as the airport are very easy to reach from his place. Communication and check-in went very smoothly.

Great stay at Enrique’s! Beautiful 2nd floor apartment. Great view from the balcony with birds and butterflies coming by. Enrique is a kind and helpful host and the local neighbourhood has everything you need for groceries and restaurants. If I’m in San Jose again I won’t hesitate to repeat my stay.
