8+ Camp Sites

MeganRating, 5 stars76 months ago
We loved our two weeks at Lonnoc Beach bungalows with Kalmer and his family. We had a spot right on the beach front to camp. There is wifi included in the price and use of kayaks for free :) we had clean showers and a toilet and the restaurant was available if we needed it. If you fly into Santo get to Luganville town and jump in a public minibus, they usually leave after 2.30pm and will cost you only 500vt each. Then during your stay you can hitch hike to and from town or along the east coast for 500 per person. The luganville market have great fruit and veg for cheap too - mango’s and pomello’s for 15p!! During our stay we felt part of the community, making friends with Kalmers big family, going to church, eating with them and sharing stories. We definitely recommend camping here (if you have your own tent) and you’re on a budget but want to travel to Vanuatu.

Satoshi Island One-Bedroom

ClareRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Our stay on Lataro/Satoshi island felt like a fairytale. Denys and Marcella were fantastic hosts, always helpful and friendly. The scenery is some of the most stunning we have ever seen, and we are well travelled. The beaches, reef and fish were untouched and easily accessible for snorkelling from the beach. We even saw turtles! The local cows, horses, cats and dogs were friendly and fun to be around. The vila is comfortable and has everything you would need for a longer term stay. We were worried initially about the lack of air conditioning but even in the height of summer the temperature was fine. The big fan in the bedroom meant we were comfortable at night (even chilly at times). We recommend planning your meals in advance and being prepared for your supermarket trip in Luganville when you arrive, as you will not be able to duck off the island easily to buy more food. We would absolutely come back here and recommend everyone come and experience this beautiful slice of paradise.

Bungalow by the Sea

SuchitaaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Our stay at Daniel's place was amazing!! The beachview from the place was beautiful. You can pre book your airport pickup and drop off and local tours with Daniel. It was nice to hear stories about the island and the local traditions and customs from him. Our personal favorite was the daily breakfast that Daniel delivers which consists of locally grown fresh avocados, papaya and banana. You also get free kayaks that you can use to kayak to Champagne Beach (we didn't go too far since we weren't confident swimmers and didn't want to go into deep waters) The restaurant close by is really good and has a few vegetarian options too. Overall, our stay with Daniel was great and we will definitely be back soon!!

Pangona Boho chic by the beach

AlastairRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a fantastic time at Loic's place. As described it is about 45min drive from Vila so having your own transport is highly recommended. A representative form the management company met us at the airport and we followed them the property as it was after dark. This was really helpful as otherwise we might have struggled to find the entrance (its easy in daylight). Devils Point Road is unpaved but didn't really need a 4WD (we were there at the end of the dry season). The property is pleasant and set in a fantastic location with world class snorkelling from the private beach. Sam and his family, who live next door, look after the property and kept us supplied with Paw-paw and coconuts! Mele Beach is about 20 mins drive away and the Friday night Fire Show is highly recommended. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in stunning surrounds.

Nawori Seaview Bungalows N Tour Packages-Malekula

AprilRating, 5 stars18 months ago
My stay at Nawori Bungalows has been the highlight of my trip so far. The bungalow is in a stunning location, perched on a coral cliff overlooking the reef, with beautiful views of the island and easy access to the water for some excellent snorkelling at high tide. This is how you experience the real Vanuatu away from the cities and main islands. Ettiene can arrange everything you want to do and make very good suggestions. Lynn's cooking was wonderful and I was never hungry. I got a special glimpse of island life that I would have missed if I didn't stay here. Highly recommend.

BREATHTAKING VILA SENANG MASARI,

JonasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing stay. As soon as we got there (finding it was no big problem for the local cab drivers) we were amazed by the amount of love & attention that went into decorating and furnishing the place. From medicine to cooking equipment & the bbq, everything was in abundance and made to feel like home. Courtesy of this welcoming feeling is no doubt the lovely housemaid Eva, who looked after us with amazing care. As a group of students (ages 20-24) we enjoyed the privacy of the house and its perfect blend of comfort (amazing beds, helping hands of Eva etc.) and more adventurous aspects (bumpy ride getting there, rare power-outages in the night etc.). All of us agree that this house was the core to our amazing time on Vanuatu. We would highly recommend to get a car (4x4 pickup was our choice & we did not regret it), as mobility is key on Efate. Also, if at all interested, get an ATV. Fuel is cheap & the fun priceless. Thanks to Christiana and Eva for this unforgettable time.

Saffire - Santo's most luxurious private retreat

EmilyRating, 5 stars11 months ago
WOW WOW WOW!! Saffire is an incredible property that just blew our minds! I am not sure where to start - From the moment we drove down the driveway into the beautiful garden of the Saffire grounds, we knew we were in heaven. From the pool overlooking the water (we did not leave this pool for 4 days), the absolutely impeccably stunning gardens (which we are still in awe of), the gorgeous villas, the location, Max and Yvannah and even the pets Masey and Saffy - we truly fell in love with every aspect of Saffire. Denise - congratulations to you on creating a stunning oasis and for allowing us to be apart of it. You were incredible and so helpful, thank you for everything! Our trip to Santo will never be forgotten and we cannot wait to return!

1-bedroom bungalow in beachfront boutique hotel

JackieRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Five blissful nights at South Pacific Memories were a real highlight of this trip. For snorkelling obsessives, the fish diversity right outside this boutique four-villa resort is the best I found in Vanuatu. Clouds of fish hover around the coral heads, schools swim past flashing silver, there are lobsters peeking out from crevices, squid, hundreds of wrasse, parrotfish and at least three types of triggerfish. We snorkelled here after breakfast every morning. The four villas sit behind the main house, restaurant, lobby, lounge and dive facilities. They’re two stories with rooftop decks to sit on and look at the stars, or dry wet clothing. Inside its spacious minimalism with concrete dressed up with colourful naive art. Good wifi, fridges, room safes, wardrobes to put away your suitcases and feel like you can settle in. Breakfast is included in the tariff and healthy and inviting! I found it very hard to leave this truly special place!

Island Magic Private Villa - Vanuatu

EileenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Don's place is a unit at Island Magic Resort -- we were in Bungalow 10. The bungalow was very spacious, with louvre windows in every direction so ocean breezes were great. Snorkeling right from the resort was also great. Grounds were well kept. The resort was very quiet -- about 15 min from town. We had a car so no problems getting around but local transportation was also available. Highly recommend attending the cultural show on Saturday evenings. Restaurant served excellent food. Staff was excellent-- this is a small resort where they get to know you very quickly. Highly recommend Island Magic and Don's place!

Bukurabeachhouse beachfront villa

TimmyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Robin was an amazing host. Communicated very well and was very helpful. I’d highly recommend hiring a car (4x4) due to the location. The ocean can be loud at night so keep this in mind if you can’t sleep well with a loud environment and the bed is firm which I didn’t find comfortable but that’s my opinion. There are dogs on the property that are friendly but can bark at night but they can be put inside at night or taken off the property if needed. They were generally fine for us. There was an issue with the internet but Robin did her best to inform us and try to work out a solution, just remember it’s a 3rd world country and these things can happen. The house/kitchen could’ve been a little cleaner but It definitely wasn’t bad. Overall though, it was amazing. House was fully equipped and the location was magical. Definitely highly recommend the place and Robin made everything so much better with the level of communication and care. We will be back for sure.

The Bay House, Teouma Bay

JasmineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I had such a relaxing and rejuvenating time at Jeanette’s beautiful home. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and just spend time taking in the beautiful surroundings. Jeanette is so thoughtful and has thought of literally everything to make her guests feel right at home and make their visit as easy as possible. The beach down the hill had incredible wildlife and beautiful clear water. Jeanette is such a kind and generous person who wants the best for her guests.

FabianRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Lovely place to stay. Quiet and peaceful in a beautiful setting. Stunning sunset and beautiful settings. Lovely bungalow with all you need.and tasteful Deco and a good bed with good pillows and good mattress... 👍 Unfortunately we had some stronger winds that made snorkelling not possible at high tide. However at low tide easy to get in. Beautiful gardens with many different seating areas, entertainment areas. Even a pizza oven. The local on site caretakers are very lovely. Aklid just puts a smile on your face... And she is ready to help with anything it seems... Easy going and super relaxing... Thanks again...

Towoc bungalows in Pristine waters

ElisabethRating, 5 stars15 months ago
We had a fantastic week at Towoc bungalows. Janeth and Peter and everyone else made us feel like home. Great food, friendly people and so many fantastic experiences. Janeth and her family were very proactive, always making sure we had everything we needed and more. The free access to beautiful champagne beach (plus another amazing beach right outside our bungalow) was a plus. Highly recommended and hope to go back some day! Thank you!

As well as fresh coconuts, you can eat them and drink! Locals are so friendly, helpful and talkative, they will wave you and beep the horns while passing you on cars so relax and enjoy it ,they're just greeting you!! The place itself is well managed with some basics in the kitchen, note that there is no TV, for those who seeks real relax and detox from social media just perfect. WIFI is good.
