Amazing Home. From the interior design, to the cozy backyard hammock, this place is a 5-star home. Little things you would never imagine, like eucalyptus in one of the showers. I'm already looking at their calendar for future stays. Stores and restaurants only 2 min away - great location. Easy drive right off the highway. The pictures are nice, but the energy you feel upon entering is something few images can capture. Great communication. Host went above and beyond to help make our trip one for the books. I've been doing airbnb for a long time, both as a guest and superhost, and I can say this is one of the best stays and host experiences.

When I found this gem online, there were over 500 - 5-star reviews so I had to book! When we arrived, we could absolutely see why. The grounds are beautiful with lovely landscaping, multiple sitting areas to enjoy and charming lighting throughout the landscaping to enjoy on nice evenings. Inside the cottage, Bill and Paul did not spare a single detail - from a very comfortable bed with super soft linens, to a fully stocked kitchen with multiple treats, drinks and fresh baked goods, to very thoughtful touches throughout the place. Everything was in pristine condition and very clean. The location is perfect for a short walk into town or up the hill to Ironstone Vineyards. If you're considering a visit to Murphys, don't think twice about booking this cottage. We will definitely be returning!

Our stay in Murphy’s was a lovely experience. We booked our stay for a book club retreat and were looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to relax and read. The house was clean and spacious, very comfortable to accommodate our group. The location is perfect and walkable to many restaurants and wineries. I would recommend this location for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at Surrey Lane. Michael is an excellent host! House is beautiful and located within walking distance of all the Murphys has to offer! We can’t wait to return.

Place was perfect for us. If I'd been more astute about reading how to enter the smaller house, I wouldn't have had trouble getting in. Both houses have the same # address, but the host was very articulate in explaining how to get into the smaller house. It was really my error. The location was terrific, as we had ridden bikes so didn't have access to a car. We rode into town for dinner. It's a super quiet and comfortable place.

We had a good experience overall. The unit had everything we needed. The use of a washer and dryer was a nice perk. Appreciate the included parking space, but it is a little hard to get into due to the narrow alley and metal gate. Don’t plan on parking a large car.

This place is amazing! Highly, highly recommend. I found this listing on a fluke - my teen son was mountain-bike racing at Exchequer Park (15 mins away) and we needed a place to stay for the night and this popped up in my search. I only wish we could have stayed longer. What stood out: - Incredibly peaceful and quiet surroundings - you feel immersed in nature. - A perfect low-key-but-festive outdoor space. We had dinner outside and sat around the fire as chilly air moved in. - Whomever designed this knows interior design. There's such a light, airy and clean feel inside, and thought has been put into literally every detail - from custom shades to built-ins which hug the rounded sides of the rooms, to really cool silverware. -The bathroom actually feels large, and is beautifully tiled - The bedroom is luxurious! - The kitchen area is meticulously planned out - everything is modern, has a home and can be easily packed away. - Honestly felt like I could live here happily for weeks!
