Family-friendly vacation rentals in Valle di Ayas

We had fantastic days at Marc's Chalet. The place is an absolute dream, we enjoyed every second! There was everything you could think of, and it was probably the best AirBnB we've ever been to. Everything was sparkling clean, the wellness area fantastic, the kitchen perfectly equipped and the bed very comfortable. The location is top central in Zermatt and yet it is very quiet. We can recommend the chalet 100%. Perfect for relaxing & active holidays in the mountains! Thank you Marc!

The Matthiol serviced apartments are very nice. The apartment has modern furnishings, large fully equipped kitchen and immaculately clean. Our unit had a view of the Matterhorn too. Portier service from the Zermatt train station to the apartment was included and much appreciated. Future renters should be aware that Zermatt is a walking town and there is a bit of a hike up from the street to the apartment. We were all able bodied, so it wasn't an issue for us, but for those less able, a place on the flat section of Zermatt might be a better choice. We figured out the best way to get to the ski lifts from the apartment and we carried our ski boots and then put our shoes in a backpack while skiing. There are lockers available if you don't want to carry your walking shoes. The hot tub, steam and sauna were nice to have after skiing, but be aware that you will need to reserve your one-hour time slot by signing the sheet when you arrive. I highly recommend the Mattiol apartments!

Beautiful and quiet house, with a garden perfect for 4-legged friends. Great area for excursions in Valgrisenche and close to both other valleys and the main road with all useful services.

Great assistance getting luggage up to the house and getting settled in. Beautiful view across and down the valley and really peaceful since there is no car noise.

Host was absolutely excellent. we had a very minor issue they very, very quickly and efficiently resolved. the place is conveniently located near a bus stop and only 5-10 minutes walking from most other things. the host offered a lot of suggestions for the city, and I'm grateful we stayed here. The view of the matterhorn from the back porch is breathtaking. definitely would stay again

The house is very cozy, tidy and clean. It is in a nice location for those who want to take walks on the mountain but also close to the town center.

The 16-day stay in Fanny's home was truly fulfilling. Very convenient location a few kilometers from Aosta and twenty minutes from Pila, in a really quiet village, able to offer a beautiful view of the capital and the surrounding mountains. The apartment offers all the amenities indicated, it is spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The only downside, for us negligible, is the lack of brightness due to exposure. During the stay we never suffered from the heat because the apartment allows great ventilation. Fanny was very helpful and very kind in welcoming us and making sure we were comfortable, she is a really perfect host. We recommend Fanny's apartment to all those who want to spend quiet and relaxing days, away from the confusion but with the comforts of Aosta a few steps away. A heartfelt thank you to Fanny from all of us!

It was a beautiful and relaxed stay. The place is really cozy and was as described, with everything you need. In addition, Massimiliano was a very nice and helpful host. There was a very tasty breakfast with local specialties and many good tips for the area. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

This place is one of the best houses I’ve been so far. The location is perfect (quiet and warm), free parking in the street, very friendly people, the house is well maintained, it makes one feel home. Thank you Laura for hosting me and I just can’t wait to come back…

We stayed at the apartment and it was comfortable and clean - all you need for a holiday break. The facilities at the apartment allow for a choice of staying in or going out to eat. There is a sauna as well for a restful time. The location is excellent and we would recommend Champex Lac for a tranquil break, although we visited out of season and so cannot comment for high season. For children, there is not too much to do, except the indoor swimming pool and swimming in the lake - and feeding the ducks! (€3.50 for 2.5KG bag of seed from the superette provided us with some fun time feeding them daily during our stay). We will re-visit Champex next year, since it is a beautiful place to stay and has access to places such as Verbier not too far away to provide varied locations for walking.

Great quiet cosy place with unobstructed views!

Fantastic place in the middle of the green of Val di Valchiusella. The house is on the edge of a small village and used to have the function of a mill. The garden is very big and so you imagine yourself in your own paradise. Ideal if you are looking for a quiet place and want to enjoy beautiful views.
