We recently got married and had a mini-honeymoon at Catherine’s cottage and brought along our dog. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. We cooked simple meals and enjoyed the views of the river. We took long walks along the paths and in town. We enjoyed the campfire each night by the river and the cozy atmosphere of the whole property. It was a perfect getaway in an ideal location. The location was perfect! We were walking distance to the main lift and the central areas of the village. It was wonderful to be able to go back and regroup in the room before heading out to dinner. We did not need to move our car the entire weekend. Thank you!

We are a group of 5 adults and 3 kids (5-7 years-old) and we had amazing long weekend at Nicholas's chalet. The chalet is surprisingly bigger and newer than it looks in the pictures. Our kids loved running around inside the chalet to play hide and seek. We also enjoyed a lot of the outdoor area. It's great lake for fishing, we caught many fish (small, bill length) just by standing on the dock, the biggest one was a bass about 16 inches! Small beach but well enough for young children to have fun and swim. We also did kayaking and canoeing. The place suits families with kids very well as from the backyard or BBQ (side of the chalet), we can keep an eye on the children playing in the water or on the dock easily. I will definitely love to go back.

We loved our stay! It was so peaceful and the hot tub was wonderful! The area was gorgeous and the house was clean. Adrian was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind when we visit this location again!

Hidden Gem: A Chalet that will inspire you

We enjoyed our stay. Amenities were excellent. There are more than enough beds (the place could probably host more than the actually number of guests it's limited to if it needed). Although we found some broken glass in the backyard (probably from a prior guest), we don't hold it against it as the property is quite large and I imagine the previous guests didn't sufficiently inform the host in order to find and remove. We will surely be considering this place again for future cottage stays.
