The place is stunning! A cosy, welcoming cabin in a peaceful and private place. The cabin helped us settle down and rest up for a short period before our travels continued again. Our host Jan helped us whenever and gave good/fun tips. He was responsive and very friendly! I went with my mother and grandmother and it was comfortable for all three of us. If you're looking for a comfortable, cosy place with fun activities in the area, I'd recommend this place!

Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

This place was perfect for a couple nights stay! Great location, very walkable, in the center of town. We had a little trouble finding the place but once we did, it was very easy to check in, parking was easy and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was very spacious and clean.

Wow. What a stunning location and home! Remote and scenic, offered all of the relaxation and beauty of Northern Iceland that we could ask for. We were well prepared with Lea’s instructions to stock up on groceries/other before heading to the cabin. We were able to get some extra things at the grocery store in town though which was helpful, but I recommend coming prepared! The geothermal heated hot tub was a true bonus and even though we didn’t get to see the Northern lights, we loved watching the night sky through the panoramic windows. Would stay again.

Such a cute and cozy little cabin in the woods! While the cabin itself was small, the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Relaxing in the hot tub under the open sky after a long day was such a perfect experience. Rachel and her husband were super kind and even let us check out a bit later than the standard time, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this stay for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Very cozy cottage! Enjoyed waking up to the Mountain View’s and animals on the property! Bathroom was clean and host provided extra towels and blankets!

Me and my family had a fantastic time at Stefanias house. The view over Akureyri is absolutelly amazing from inside the living room and the house is equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We had a perfect week there. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stay here!!! This is a unique gem in the mountains. We even got a beautiful view of the aurora borealis spread across the sky from downtown Akureyri to the mountain behind us. This place has very good character and makes you feel cozy and right at home. Would definitely stay again!

An excellent place to stay, right in the centre with the town's free buses departing right outside and the countryside buses just across the street. The taxi office is also opposite the apartment. Very easy to travel to and from (hire car companies are a ten minute walk or free bus ride away too). We were here for a short break but would happily return to Akureyri and use this apartment again. Thanks.

Beautiful location with the perfect view and the host was lovely, made sure to check in with us to make sure we were all set for our stay. Would recommend the location and house, had great amenities and design.

Absolutely fantastic place and so much better than it appears on the listing. Phenomenal location right on the fjord with mountain views (keep yours eyes open for the whales during the day and northern lights in the evening). Really cosy and great rooms, with loads of blanks and throws. Kitchen was super well equipped, with oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, panini press and every pan and condiments you could ever need. Loads of toiletries in the bathroom along with a washing machine and dryer too. Great hosts and lots of friendly animals - thanks for an awesome stay :)
