Amazing spot in black river. Easy access to the south coast. The place itself is in a secure and nice complex. The hosts really go above and beyond with local recommendations. A bit of marina noise in the morning but you get used to after a few days.

The accommodation is like a small house and the view directly of the Baie du Tombeau is priceless. Kelvina and Munish were always available quickly and helped us if we had a question. Port Chambly is a very quiet place and the hotel within walking distance is a good starting point for eating and wellness. On the river you can kayak and pedal boat for free or take a cheap boat tour. Beautiful beaches, such as Grand Baie and Trou aux Biches, as well as the capital Port Louis, can be reached quickly by car. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation.

Our 3 weeks in the quiet villa at the end of a dead end road were exceptional. We were particularly impressed by the warm welcome and hospitality of Ursula, Amelie and Jürgen, who put everything else in the shade. Very well equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 air-conditioned bedrooms as well as 1 small and 1 large bathroom with shower and washing machine. Jürgen keeps everything in good shape, plans a new pump for better water pressure and handles all repairs. In addition to friendly turtles and dogs, there were occasionally mosquitoes and other animals, which, thanks to the means provided, was not a major problem. Beach, supermarket, fruit and vegetables at the Dodo roundabout as well as ice cream parlor, bakery and restaurants are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Ursula has its own rental car rental! Tip: Get in touch in time to organize car and transfer. She speaks very good German. Overall highly recommended. We will be happy to come back!

Roy and his wife are very, very nice people! It has been a pleasure learning from them about life on Mauritius. The apartment was bigger than expected, in a very good location near an amazing beach. The WiFi was just good enough for video calls and mostly stable. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

We particularly liked what we liked: - much earlier check-in possible - Well-equipped kitchen + accessories: dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, coffee capsules available, 2 water bottles on arrival, washing machine incl. dryer - Beautiful sea view terrace & modern furnishings - Fred super friendly, helpful, came right by when we had a problem with hot water What could be improved: - unfortunately many ants - Pool changed color during our stay after the rain, pump + chlorine would have been helpful. - Towel racks and soap were missing in the guest toilet, generally few towel racks

I highly recommend you choosing Jess as your host - trust me, you won't regret that! He's really friendly and helpful. It's our second visit to Flic en Flac and this year we also decided to stay at Jess place. The apartment that we stayed for a week was really nice and clean. You will find everything that you need there even for longer stays - washing machine, a lot of towels, a lot of beddings, hair dryer, iron and fully equipped kitchen with oven and microwave. Each bedroom is also equipped with AC unit. The localization of the apartment is also great - it's just 5 minutes from the beautiful beaches and a lot of great restaurants. And it's only 7-8 minutes from JumboExpress (bigger suppermarket).

We have just finished a wonderful 15 night stay at Kamal’s place. The apartment was a comfortable space for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. It was well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels and linens. Kamal’s brother was on hand if we had any questions or issues and even bought us some requested essentials for our arrival. We felt quickly at home and able to find our way around the resort. The pool and gym is a 1 minute walk from the apartment and there are restaurants and a beach with kayaking facilities at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.

I had a very pleasant stay in Dominique's apartment, where I particularly enjoyed the two beautiful gardens, the master bedroom offering great comfort, modernity in general, decor, location in the complex, just a few minutes from restaurants, grocery store, shop, tennis/paddleboarding and golf. Not to mention the proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool + fitness room. I felt quite safe and had a very good relationship with the very nice cleaner, who also prepared on-demand dishes. Dominique was attentive and proactive in the communication of information, very complete, and also offered other services if needed (activities and transport on the island).

We spent a wonderful week at Appanah’s apartment in Azuri. Appanah fetched us from the airport and was very helpful assisting us with SIM cards and shopping. It was wonderful chatting to him en route and learning more about Mauritius and the area. A cyclone was forecast and he checked to see that we were safe and aware of the weather. The apartment is clean and well appointed and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. All in all a wonderful stay with a friendly and professional host. We would stay with him again in the future.

Very very nice home in quiet and beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come again if we are going to Mauritius.

Such a luxurious quiet apartment. We fitted with all our kids very comfortably and all slept so well every night for a week. Walkable to a great bakery, restaurants and cafe and the pool was so close to apartment which made it very easy. We will definitely be back again as the host and location and apartment were all amazing.

We were very well received by Rheka, with whom the contact was perfect upon arrival. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. We had a great 20 days. Thanks to Rheka for her help who allowed us to pick up our lost suitcase from the airport as soon as possible and solved the TV problem quickly. Rheka is very responsive to our requests and is good tips for visiting the surrounding area. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

My stay at Sarespadee’s place was truly wonderful. It was peaceful, surrounded by trees, and incredibly spacious, with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it even more convenient. I slept so comfortably and wished I could have stayed a few more days. The city center is just a 20-minute bus ride away, and the fare is very affordable. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful neighborhood instead of the busier areas.

This is an amazing villa with exceptional design features and an imaginative open plan living. The photos do not do it justice. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower in the bathroom. The host and manager respond immediately and effectively to all enquiries. I am particularly grateful to Asvin for his assistance with our arrival. All I can say is enjoy this villa while you can. Once the surrounding development and golf course is complete, you'll be lucky to get in here and certainly not at its current rate. In the meantime, ensure you have your own transport. If not because there are so many fabulous places to visit and exceptional restaurants on this island. The villa is a few miles outside town. I used Pingouin Car hire the airport.

Both Eliott and Karine were very easily accessible and super friendly. If anything was needed, it was brought/ arranged. The house is fine to stay and the children loved it. Advice is to rent a car, everything is close and the area is well secured. Top stay!

We had a lovely stay at this tastefully decorated villa. Its layout and large floor-to-ceiling windows that can be fully opened allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful beaches are close by. A small inconsistency on the maid's hours of passage compared to those advertised, or that passed once without us being notified, outside of the initial days. Maxime is very responsive to requests to help us, and we also thank him for his flexibility on the day of departure. We had a great time at Villa Koko.

Célia is very responsive. Just like Stephanie who welcomed us The house perfectly matches the photos, quiet, clean and beautiful! You need a rental car, Only downside to go to the villa .. easy to leave and access directly to the road .. but to get there the GPS always brought us by inconvenient dirt roads.. if not we are very happy with our stay!
