Vacation rentals in Vaala

We had a great couple days at this cabin! We enjoyed the sauna, bbq by the lake, took the row boat out, and picked blueberries. Teijo was responsive when we had a problem with the well water and addressed it quickly. This place is perfect for someone looking for a peaceful getaway in beautiful Finnish nature. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and we hope we can return one day.

A spacious single-family home in a beautiful location on a hillside of danger on the edge of a farmhouse. A secluded location with a very peaceful place to stay. Very kind and responsive host. I'd love to stay in the same place again.

The cottage was clean and matched the description, and communication with the host went smoothly. The area has great opportunities for outdoor activities.

We had a lovely stay at this lakeside cabin. The area is far from the main road so it is nice and quiet, but there are stores and amenities within a short drive. The house was very cozy and we especially appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. Do note the locks on the doors can be tricky and it can be easy to lock oneself out. We kept the key in the lockbox to avoid any issues.

Everything was amazing, beautiful scenery, great sauna and amenities. Take care when arriving to the place because you may end up in the neighbours yard instead

We had a great time at this place. You can really feel at home in this house! It is decorated with a lot of detail and love. The house has everything you need: sauna, whirlpool, fire place inside, big living room, enough beds for a big group …the location is close to Oulu and close to grocery stores. Sari was always responding if we had any questions! We would always come back!

We stayed here for one night with 4 friends. Convenient location to stop halfway between Helsinki and Rovaniemi. House clean and equipped with everything you need to sleep and bathroom. We recommend it!

It is a magical place to be. In the middle of the forest with a view on the lake right from the living room. With a car the small town is easy to visit for groceries. The drive from Oulu Airport is around two hours. The path to the house is small but navigated and free of snow. Inside there is everything you need. Also for outdooractivity in winter, snowshoes are provided. All in all a beautiful and relyable airbnb in a far off region of finland.
