Amazing place in the middle of a tea plantation. Very peaceful and tranquil. They Airbnb was very well equipped and the staff are lovely, you never need to leave! They picked us up free of charge from Ella station and left a free cake and happy honeymoon written on the bed. They really went the extra mile. Shame the pool wasn’t heated but an amazing stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Our stay at this beautiful cottage in Nuwara Eliya was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, Mark and his family, George, made us feel completely at home. A special shoutout to Mark’s mother, Sriya Kanthi, who prepared the most phenomenal food we’ve ever tasted. Her cooking is truly unforgettable and has set the bar impossibly high for us. The cottage itself is wonderful—spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped. During the chilly winter evenings, the provided space heaters were a much-appreciated touch. The garden and lawn offer a lovely outdoor space to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Mark was extremely responsive and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring everything was perfect. This was truly one of our best travel experiences, and we can't recommend this place enough. We’ll cherish these memories for years to come. Thank you, Anushka, Mark, George, and Sriya Kanthi, for making our trip so special!

It was the best place we stayed in Sri-Lanka. The staff were the nicest people, very helpful. We stayed in many places, but this one is something special. Great place, great view, location and staff. They even have the big book with hundreds of reviews inside. Like old school stile. The place is really authentic (in the good way) Highly recommended!

The entrance features double doors with bright turquoise accents, framed by glass panels that reflect the surrounding greenery. Stone planters are placed on either side, enhancing the welcoming appearance of this tranquil space.

Boho Chic Villa in Kandy- Ududumbara

Wonderful stay, impressed with decor, cleanliness, and comfort, far better than pictures. Located in a mountainous area with stunning views and perfect temps. During my October 4 week stay AC/ heat were never needed. Property's cook and caretaker are attentive without being intrusive. The host's guidebook is a great help with tips about this quaint tiny town as well as recommendations for sightseeing, local crafts, and nature-hoods. In addition to this I was fortunate enough to arrive when the co-host was there and was given a personal guide to some of these sites. The host, Jay was in communication and even setup a free dinner upon my arrival (which was then extended to my driver, who had a long drive back). I felt seen and cared for, before ever getting there. The owners respect and enjoy nature so expect and accept the occasional natural visitors inherent in such environments. I have already arranged to return for another long stay. A sincere thank you to both hosts.

This is the most beautiful place I have visited in Sri Lanka!! The location is SO serene and beautiful. Lush vegetation, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls nearby. The road was quite good to get to the homestay, More than all of this Wasantha and her husband are greatly hospitable. She made the BEST local authentic food with home grown vegetables and fruits. Then we went to the local waterfalls, where you can even get a free fish massage in the water! You can exhaust your camera roll taking pictures here!! All I can just say, "Absolutely Amazing!!!!!", "Memorable!!"

Wow this place is incredible. Supun met us near Hetipola to tuk tuk us to the exact location as it is not accessible by car. It is set in a stunning natural area, in view of a rice paddy and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful lake. Supun himself was so friendly and helpful. His communication before and during the trip was excellent. He has great knowledge of the local area and wildlife and involves and supports the local community in the optional activities he provides. We asked if Supun could prepare meals for us, he gave us the prices in advance and sourced some of the most delicious local foods we have had on our trip. Supun helped to organise our onward travel which was super convenient for us too. The vehicle was great and the driver too. Overall it was one of our favourite parts of Sri Lanka. Very "off the beaten track" immersed in nature and Supun himself was great.

Our stay at Uschi & Anith’s property in Ella was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Uschi was abroad during our stay and very communicative when we made our booking. Ajith was in Ella and we cannot emphasise how special he made our trip. The home is located in the mountains with the most incredible views (& peacocks!) It’s very peaceful, quiet & perfect for slow mornings or days around the house if you’re looking to relax. Ajith’s family cooked meals for us at the house when requested, and the local gardener who takes care of the house is very kind and respectful. Over our 5 day stay, Ajith made sure all of our tuktuk’s were organised at a very good price, since you need one to access the property. He seems to know everyone in town and gave us the most incredible tips & suggestions based on what we wanted out of our time in Ella. We were so well looked after & it was truly a highlight to spend time & learn from Ajith and to see the town through his eye :)

If you want to get to Jagath's big house, you have to go up a steep bit first. That's well worth the effort. A lovely garden with various seats, large, bright room and an overdose of kindness, genuine interest and helpfulness await you. I arrived late and there was delicious cooked for me. Nice conversations! The stay is located high in the mountains, which makes it wonderfully cool at night, but with the very large blankets you won't be bothered by anything! The Botanical gardens (don't forget the high piece, fairytale) within walking distance. A few temples nearby, tea plantations, horton plains and breathtaking views, this also from your private balcony and roof terrace. Humbugs, a small restaurant with a nice garden also within walking distance, closes at 1830. Nuwara Ella at 12 km distance away away. I slept here for 4 nights and had a hard time leaving. I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!

The location is ideal. It is not too far away from the Station and main town and still extremely serene and peaceful. Amila was very helpful is helping us arrange scooters and provided useful information for local sites. The house is available with all amenities and is good choice for travellers who like to be on their own away from the noise of the town and still not too far away. Amila was also very responsive to all our needs and quick to provide anything we required. Thanks Amila for making our stay so memorable.

we had the most wonderful experience spending our Holiday break in Nuwara Eliya. the accommodation is pristine and beautifully built in the midst of a stunning landscape. We had many peaceful sunrises, gorgeous sunsets and lazy afternoons but we're also able to combine with gorgeous day trips in surrounding areas. The staff was super helpful - regularly cleaning the common areas, making us scrumptious meals and helping arrange various details such as transport, laundry etc. Must visit spot and we definitely look forward to coming back and visiting again.
