Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Uva Province

One of the best stays I've had in Sri lanka. Very comfortable, great upstairs "cinema", staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very peaceful and just what the doctor ordered.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Chitra went out of her way to help us with advice on local hikes, a Sri Lankan cooking lesson, purchasing local ingredients, and discussions on Sri Lankan history. Happy Stones is a beautiful villa, perched on a steep mountain slope with spectacular views of the woodlands and hills below. The surrounding small villages are charming, and gives insight into the Sri Lankan way of life, away from crowds of tourists.

It was the best place we stayed in Sri-Lanka. The staff were the nicest people, very helpful. We stayed in many places, but this one is something special. Great place, great view, location and staff. They even have the big book with hundreds of reviews inside. Like old school stile. The place is really authentic (in the good way) Highly recommended!

Just incredible! We kept extending our stay! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place with views to die for. The cabin is so beautiful with huge windows and lovely character. The bed is so comfortable too. We had three very friendly dogs keep us company and the neighbours cat! Watching the storms from the upstairs window was incredible and seeing fireflies in the trees was so magical! Sidhu kindly ordered us local breakfast from town each morning and had it delivered to us. He is the most helpful host and always responds quickly. He really goes out of his way to help you and messages to check you’re ok and if you need anything each day. The cabin is truly a place to relax, unwind and you can spend so much time just staring at the view and watching the wildlife (birds, monkeys, frogs!) I would love to return someday. This spot is a must-visit, especially if you're planning a safari at Yala National Park. The rates are incredibly reasonable, offering exceptional value for the experience it provides. It's a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
