Orange Room - The Haven Guesthouse 1

Very neat and clean room with own bathroom. In the room a double bed with coffee facilities and tv with open view channels. We can do breakfast, lunch and supper on request and there's open view in all rooms . We do have cleaning staff that can do laundry for them on request. Very lovely area with a nice view on the Drakensberg. We 30min from the Drakensberg and hour from the midlands meander. Close to CBD.

Its not often that expectations are met let alone exceeded. In this case, our expectations were definitely exceeded, from the check in to the standard of the accommodation everything was just perfect. The staff that we dealt with were attentive but not intrusive, the balance was perfect. A special mention must be made for the kitchen staff, the meals were just perfect, and it was evident that the chef loves his / her job. Of all the AirB&B's I have stayed at, I rate this one as the best.

We really had a great stay with Johan. They really whent out of their way to spoil us. It actually felt like a holiday and not just a weekend. The food were delicious definitely the best breakfast and Pork Belly. The veiw were breathtaking although we had a rainy weekend we still could enjoy the patio and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I will say you qualify more for a boutique hotel. We will be back for sure.

Wow! What an incredible experience. We felt so spoilt from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out. The accommodation was gorgeous, the view was absolutely stunning (especially at sunset with drinks at the bar and pool). The entire team was so welcoming and our guide, Mtoko, was beyond fantastic. I loved the cabin turnover after breakfast and dinner (this was a surprise and would happen during our meals so when we got back to the room everything was ready for the evening/day, really made it feel even more luxurious). I also thoroughly enjoyed the concept of the set menu, the food was lovely and was an exciting surprise each time. We will absolutely be back!
