Born on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, where the Stand Up Paddle Boarding originated, Jon moved to Charleston as a young boy, he grew up playing on Folly Beach, Big Jon has been on the water his entire life. He has taught paddleboarding, kayaking, and surfing in New Zealand, guided fishing trips and sailed a trimaran around Fiji, and worked with students of all ages and many nationalities around the world.
