A lovely morning making strudel and schnitzel in a mixed group with Lena. We learnt a lot about the techniques needed and it was fun to learn about Austrian cuisine.

My brother and I had a great time learning how to make Austrian dishes. It was lovely to work in Lena’s kitchen. Her recipes were very easy to follow, and all the dishes were very tasty. She is very friendly, and her English is very good. Whether you are an experienced cook or a beginner, we highly recommend this cooking class.

The exact apartment was a little hard to decipher as the apartment address was different at the door than was given on the instructions. Lena had printed recipes for each of us and went over the instructions before we started. She was organized for the day and we all participated in the cooking. The meal was very tasty and there was plenty to eat.
I think that the $120 price is a bit much for the value. Lena was either not feeling well or is a bit tired of doing this so often.

We had such a lovely time with Lena! The food was delicious, and it was so special to spend time in her space filled with such rich family history. We had such fun with our group and went back for seconds on every dish! I absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking to experience authentic Austrian cooking.
