Family-friendly vacation rentals in Uri

My son and I had a wonderful stay in Engelberg. The house is perfectly located so the views are spectacular yet the location is low enough on the mountain to make walking to dinner quite enjoyable. The house is nicely decorated, has very comfortable beds, and is extremely clean. We will certainly try to visit Engelberg again and hope to stay at the same Airbnb. I highly recommend this listing.

a very cozy apartment with a well equipped kitchen. refrigerator, microwave, toaster and filter coffee machine were there too. towels were changed once per a week on Wednesday and garbage bins were emptied too. this service was very convenient for us.

The house is very clean and convenient, very worthwhile to vacation here. We were in the house in winter, it takes some love to heat with wood, but if you like to do it like me, that's no problem. Attention, the washing machine is not available as on the description. We would come back in a moment:-)

We were all cyclists and the chalet was ideal as it had a covered garage too

As other reviewers have noted, the apartment was comfortable, nicely furnished and within easy walking distance to town. A free bus, possibly only operating in winter, was also a convenient option to get around the immediate area. The kitchen, while small, was well equipped … and even had a salad spinner! Stephan was a responsive, joyful and knowledgeable host, and went out of his way to help us when one of our group was injured while skiing. Andermatt in the winter was magical and our stay in Stephan’s apartment was wonderful. We hope to return, maybe next time in the spring!

Location right next to the slopes was perfect. We were able to get started directly with the skis or sleds every morning. The equipment in the Gaus was also great for our family with two small children. We enjoyed the week with the best weather and can imagine coming by again!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time in Mirjam’s apartment. It was very comfortable, cozy, and warm. Our kids loved having bunk beds and we enjoyed cooking and eat dinner together at the dinning table after a long day of winter sports. We look forward to coming back :)

Fantastic stay, we had a group of 17 people over the weekend and the house was spacious and the surrounding area was beautiful! Very close to the skiing area.

Tip top! Super nice, very spacious apartment. Perfectly furnished, it has everything you need and it is very clean. We were there with small children for skiing and it was great fun for everyone. Gladly again!

Christina's place is a dream come true! We have been there for the second time and we enjoy it every time. Absolutely located in the heart of the Stoos, with great amenities and views! Fantastic location but very steep village if you have nobility concerns. Extremely clean and comfortable. Well designed apartment but appliances are overly complicated. We had difficulty with check in but that could have been because we arrived on a national holiday
