Bernardo de Galvez Inn

AndreaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Colin was a very responsive and attentive host. Met us at check in and reviewed our list of things to do with suggestions. Was also very accommodating on check out day with allowing us to stay at the apartment until we left for the airport later in the day. The apartment was quaint and wonderfully maintained. A bit off the beaten path, so we had to take ubers to our destinations, but still worth staying there. It enabled us to be more adventurous in exploring different NOLA neighborhoods.

Down the block from Tulane - Uptown

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a great stay at Alicia's place during Tulane's Bookfest 2025. My Tulane student lives off-campus less than 2 blocks from this home, so it was convenient to connect every day and to walk to campus together. It is worth noting (and the listing notes this) that there isn't a full kitchen. Just a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. But my student had a list of restaurants to visit and we went out and about every day, so we didn't need more. The fridge was great for keeping cold waters and leftovers! Nicely updated bathroom. Nice, simple furnishings. Had everything we needed. We had a little trouble getting in the gate the first day, but the owner was very responsive and the gate worked every day after that first day. We also enjoyed petting the resident dogs on our way in or out. Very sweet and friendly. I had a rental car and always found parking right out front or on the side street next to the house. All in all, would recommend, especially for parent visits like mine!

Bayou St. John Studio w/Bikes & Courtyard

SerenaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What an adorable space. My fiance and I stayed for a week. We were all over New Orleans, and Charlys place was a nice spot to have some peace and quiet, after all the hustle and bustle of the city. Several spots walking distance for food too. We didn't have a car, but used the bikes that came with the unit. Lovely way to get around. Not super close to the French Quarter, but only $10 Lyft ride. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something with the quiet southern charm, but don't want the loud/party vibes.

Tranquil Treme Guest House - min to French Quarter

KofiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautifully designed, centrally located, well appointed unit that is perfect for a quiet sleep after a long day of working or exploring NOLA. Elizabeth and her family were kind and gracious hosts, the guidebook with local recommendations led me to some delicious food, and the unit was pristine. I had a delightful stay and hope to return in the future.

A Sweet Suite on Bayou St. John

SheilaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Maxie and Lydia's. The location was absolutely fantastic, I've been to New Orleans many times but never stayed in the Bayou St. John neighborhood. Really appreciated the opportunity to explore this beautiful area, from the Sculpture Garden to St. Louis cemetery. The suite is spacious and as others have mentioned, the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. If you're a history fan, I highly recommend taking an hour to visit Pitot House a few doors down, for $15 I got a personal tour from their incredible docent - I wish I could have spent all day with her. There's never. shortage of fantastic places to eat in NOLA but a couple of favorites from this trip were Liuzza's - a short walk from the house, and Lil Dizzy's. Last note: not sure how long the service interruption will last, but streetcars weren't running all the way to the French Quarter; so best to take the 91 bus from City Park.

Maisonette Tropicale - New Luxury Suite in Bywater

MathisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Full recommendation! The apartment was nice, very clean, and had everything we needed for staying a few days in New Orleans. The French Quarter was easily accessible by walking or bus, and there were good options to go out nearby as well. Communication with Shanda went smoothly, and was polite and clear. Lastly, the WiFi was excellent and allowed for video meetings without any interruptions.

Condo w/ Historic Charm on Popular Magazine Street

I loved staying at Brenda's! The apartment itself was beautiful and charming. Just sitting out on the porch felt like a vacation. The home itself was clean and comfortable, and it was located right on Magazine Street, and easy walk from many shops and restaurants. Brenda communicated clearly, kindly, and proactively. I'd highly recommend this stay!

Come enjoy New Orleans!

NicholasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Chanel’s place was very conveniently located outside of NOLA, but close to the French Quarter. In a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. A very beautiful and comfortable home. We had the whole upstairs area to ourselves with a nice big TV and couch for downtime before bedtime. The bathroom and shower are well stocked spacious. I would absolutely stay here again!

Sweet Home

JoshuaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Ozue was a phenomenal host, treated us like family. The accommodations were perfect and as beautiful as the photos. On site parking was so great to have and well lit. I was nervous about the location next to the main roads but didn’t hear any of it behind closed doors and that proximity is an actual blessing…we were on the road and across town to the convention center in 15 minutes (and that was with heavy French Quarter traffic)! An absolute wonderful experience!

Spacious Studio 3 Blocks Off St. Charles Avenue

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What a gem in New Orleans. An awesome place! Everything is so nice and clean. Great layout! Nice bathroom and shower. A sink, keurig, small fridge, microwave, washer and dryer in a room. A large closet area. Easy in and out. It is gated which made us feel very safe. The people in the neighborhood were very nice but they do party. Maybe some loud music can be heard in the daytime but at night it is so quiet. If you have a complaint about your stay here,I'm sorry but you are very picky! If we are back in New Orleans this well be our #1 pick! Thank you very much for hosting us!!!! Happy New Year!

The Traveler's Respite

IsaacRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
One of the best stays I’ve had. The craftwork and design of the unit were amazing. Coffee, healthy snacks and cold water were laid out. The exterior “courtyard” was secluded and beautifully gardened with star jasmine and shade trees. The neighborhood was very walkable and bikeable to grocery stores, restaurants and Audubon Park. And of course Jim and Pam were so kind and responsive. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fresh Apartment w Tiki Bar and Enclosed Porch!

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kris and Diana are great hosts - genuinely engaging and very responsive, providing recommendations aligning with my interests. I was visiting my child at Tulane and the location is centrally located between the college and other NOLA attractions I wanted to experience. I’m a big fan of walking and public transportation, both accessible with the St. Charles Streetcar very close by and Magazine St an easy walk (always recognizing the time of day and knowing when an Uber/taxi are the better choice). Although the unit is attached to the hosts’ home, it is extremely private and quiet. The accommodations were just right - great care to have all the amenities I needed (even a diffuser hair dryer attachment for my curly hair!), and everything up to date and well maintained. My favorite room was the bedroom, where I enjoyed lingering with the back door opened to the enclosed patio. Fingers crossed that 1816 Amelia is available for my future visits to NOLA!

Relaxing Private Unit 5 miles from French Quarter

EricaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at Sarah’s place! It was nice, clean and decorated beautifully. She was very helpful with giving us recommendations on places to eat, giving us updates on schedule changes to upcoming events and checking in on us to make sure we settled in okay. She even surprised us with a King Cake which New Orleans is famous for and it was gooooooood! If you’re ever in New Orleans and need a place to stay for about two or three people then this is the place for you!!!

Jasmine Station - Rustic studio with NOLA charm!

RachelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a little oasis! This little corner studio is adorable! It's decorated so cute and smells good. I loved all the windows and natural light. The little back deck was delightful to sit at. I wish there was a way to rate the bed.....MOST COMFORTABLE Air Bnb bed I've ever slept on!! I met Patrick while I was sitting outside during my stay. He was very friendly and told me to let him know if I needed anything. I appreciated his friendliness and willingness to be an excellent host. This little studio really felt like a home from the moment I arrived. I am thankful to have gotten to stay at Jasmine Station.

Chic Bohemian Guest Suite

PeteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This visit was my second time here because I had such an amazing stay the first time. Jay and A think of every detail to make your stay the best it can be: - consistently and meticulously clean - ultra comfortable bed and linens - spotless bathroom - perfectly appointed kitchen The home itself is decorated with a relaxed bohemian vibe with an enclosed courtyard to hang with the other guests. Quiet neighborhood; located near restaurants, bars, music clubs, Frenchmen's Street and the French Quarter. If possible, I would stay here every time I visit New Orleans (which I hope to do alot) and I make sure to tell everyone I know about their place. Thank you again J and A.
