Overall loved the home. The beds were nice and comfortable along with space to lounge inside and outside. The night sky was one you could only find in the area. Be ready for some of the best star gazing around. Can’t wait to return to this retreat.

Two families (with 4 high school and 2 college aged kids) stayed at Ted’s cabin for 4days to ski at Snowshoe. There was plenty of room and it was very clean. We were too busy on the slopes to Use the .fire pit or trails. But they looked lovely. The location was ideal for skiing without being in the hustle and bustle of the mountain top. The kitchen was perfect for feeding everyone. It is off the beaten path a bit but Ted’s directions got us there even in the dark. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. I highly recommend!

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family of 5 kids! We came to go skiing for the first time at snowshoe and the cabin was a perfect private retreat for family time, games, and a hot tub for aches and pains from skiing! Super clean, cozy and we had everything needed including laundry detergent we forgot! Filtered cold water tower was extra nice for all our yeti refills! We were party of 7 but 10 can sleep comfortably, plus two full baths! Crockpot, two types of coffee makers, toaster, all cooking utensils needed for big breakfasts and convenient supper! Really nice place to stay and enjoy a mountainous Cabin. Relaxing, great Hottub, and peaceful. Close to skiing sites and equipment rentals.

Great place to relax. Great place for a walk or run. The river is beautiful and adds that peaceful happiness on a run. We had a slight hiccup with the hot tub however it all worked out well. Hot tub is just what we needed after our hikes. Our family had a great holiday together!

We love this place! It’s our second time coming & we aren’t people who like to go to the same place twice. It’s a great way to unplug and relax. It’s a slower pace of living with beautiful surroundings. Things you should know if you haven’t been, we always take our groceries which we’re fine with. There aren’t many places to eat or grocery shop. Take all you need because once you get there you won’t want to leave.

Nice little cabin. Not much around so pack your groceries. No cellphone service but the internet worked great. Snowshoe is only 25-30 minutes away.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain-view cabin! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s conveniently located just a quick and easy 25-minute drive to Snowshoe Mountain, making it the perfect spot for a ski trip. However, if you’re visiting in the winter, a 4WD vehicle is definitely a must to navigate the mountain roads safely. We highly recommend this cabin and can’t wait to come back!

Convenient to town. Lovely, peaceful area (aside from highway noise). Restaurant next door is delicious. Clean accommodations- great for two couples or a family.

Great backwoods place to sleep and get away from the world. Cabin was small and comfortable with the appliances listed in the description. Bathroom was clean and each cabin had their own shower and toilet. The host was easy to work with and helped us make a great stay.

Bryan and Hannah's place was just what I was looking for. It was peaceful and quiet. The directions and instructions were very clear. The house is well appointed, clean and cozy. I would definitely return for another weekend of quiet and solitude.

Beautiful and peaceful! This small cabin was perfect for a few solo days of reflection and reset at the end and beginning of the year. I loved the trails around the property and how quiet and serene the place was. The cabin itself had everything I needed. Even during some bitterly cold days, the mini-split kept things entirely warm and cozy. Highly recommend staying here!

For a secluded getaway this is perfect. Downloaded the google map before arriving and was able to disconnect, but at the same time have some connectivity if we wanted to. It was a short drive up to hit Snowshoe and very relaxing to return to after we got done for the day. Our pup loved the outdoors and my wife really enjoyed the decor and feel of the cabin. We are experienced winter drivers and planned accordingly for the weather. A plow came and cleared out the snow making it easier to get in and out. Tony was very communicative and had everything ready for us when we got in late while driving in the snow. It was a perfect getaway for our family and this cabin and Tony is why we are getting back from a 6 hour drive still relaxed.

We had an amazing stay!! Great location, great people, great cabins and properties. This placed checked all of our boxes and the amenities were great to have. The cabin was exactly as pictured, we got more out of this place than we had anticipated. 10/10 we’ll be back

A beautiful, well-appointed cabin — had everything we needed in the kitchen to make all meals, and comfortable seating and beds for all to relax easily. Clean, cheerful, festive for the holidays… couldn’t ask for better!

Would be difficult to get a better location than this. The dog loved the open space and the river access. The house was clean and easy to get access. We truly enjoyed our stay here and only wish that we could have stayed longer. Very comprehensive instructions about the house, the lot, directions to get there, and things to do. The directions can seem a little intimidating but we had no trouble at all getting there. Highly recommended if you are looking for some private space to relax, look at stars, and do some hiking.

This is was a nice and relaxing place and bob was so kind definitely will try to come back in the future :)

Great location. Waking up and sitting on the porch while we listened to the stream less than 20 feet away was very nice. The inside is comfortable and cozy.

We loved this cabin! It snowed shortly after we arrived and it caused some very beautiful scenery.

Absolutely beautiful woodwork in cabin. It’s very peaceful, only thing you need to bring with you, is food & drinks! Kitchen is fully furnished with pots/pans, crockpot, & etc. If you have a road legal sxs, there is hours/miles of riding on beautiful scenic backroads (that’s what we did Christmas Eve & Day)! The Hot tub is super clean!! Will definitely be goin back one day!!!

The place was very clean it’s a perfect place for couples and you get to see such beautiful view we had so much fun!!

We loved our weekend at paradise in the woods! Cheryl gave very clear and helpful instructions. And the place is beautiful! Would definitely stay again. Very much recommend Cj Maggie’s for dinner. We also went to Bucks Diner about 25 minutes from the stay, delicious breakfast!

We had an amazing girls trip at the cabin! We enjoyed the privacy and outdoor fire place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip!
