Christine and her Husband were absolutely amazing hosts. From check in to check out. Friendly and helpful and very lovely people. They made sure that you have everything you needed from extra linen, blankets, firewood and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils etc that you need. The home was much more spacious than the photos show. And the amazing view of the river from the home was the icing on the cake. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Thank yous both. Hope to be back soon.

A wonderful stay in a picturesque location. The house was beautifully equipped, very comfortable, with all those little touches that made it special. Annie was a delight to communicate with, and made us feel very welcome. The highly effective air conditioning was a welcome highlight with the 35+ degree heat outdoors. We hope to be back and to enjoy the cosiness of property in the cooler months with the warming fire.

The perfect getaway for my family! Myself, hubby and 2 kids (7 and 9) had such a lovely time. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature. The walk to the river was beautiful and breathtaking. There was so much to do whether it be playing tennis, exploring the grounds, or chilling at the cabin with a board game. Would highly recommend

Staying at Pats place was absolutely wonderful, a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, walks and wildlife. The heritage of Barrington tops was also wonderfully captured within the surrounds and cabin. We were thrilled to take the kids out, free of devices and spend quality family time, 90’s style, board games and dvds in between the wet weather. Definitely would be the perfect place to escape as a couple also the serenity was luxurious.

Cosy Farm Cabin in the heart of the Upper Hunter

What a very special place. We were lucky enough to stay after a significant amount of rain so the waterfall was in full force. The sound of the rushing water was very loud and breathtaking. If you appreciate falling asleep to the sounds of nature, then this place is for you. Lovingly constructed from reclaimed timber, this cabin is rustic and charming in the best possible way. The towells were plush, the linen clean, the shower was hot and the cereal, milk, drip coffee and snacks were an appreciated extra touch. The bed was just okay as the mattress probably needs replacing soon. But this did not spoilt our stay. No TV - just sitting by the fire, roasting marshmallows and looking over that beautiful waterfall was exactly what our busy family needed. We'll definitely be back.

The house itself is beautiful inside and out. Spacious and clean, with everything you need. The beautiful garden and the surrounding farm land is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Our host Annie was very accommodating and friendly. We could not recommend a stay at Old Oakley anymore highly.

Mirrimina Farm Stay was a lovely retreat and escape from the city life. The farm was beautiful with stunning views and the rooms were nice and comfy with heating in each of them, making it perfect for winter stays. It’s an ideal getaway for groups, offering ample space and activities to enjoy together. Bob, the host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home. Our stay in The Dairy at St Helena River Retreat was incredible, the view of the river and surroundings mountains was breathtaking. The accommodation was immaculately clean and beautifully presented with comfy beds. Our family of four enjoyed exploring the Upper Allyn area during the day and fireplace, outdoor bath and fire pit during the evening. Catherine was friendly, easy to communicate with and provided us with plenty of helpful information. I would highly recommend the St Helena experience, we can’t wait to return.

I booked this place for my parents visiting Aus from the UK. They loved their time in the cottage in Denman. Very clean and had everything you needed for a few days away. Denman is a lovely place, has everything you need and a friendly neighbourhood. Trent was great with all communication. My parents will definitely be back to stay again!

A very nice cabin and about as peaceful as it could possibly get. The birds come right up to you on the balcony and eat out of your hand. The communication from the host was fantastic and the cabin was clean and well presented. If you want a quiet, off the grid holiday with the choice of outdoor activities or simply staying in and enjoying the scenery with family then I would highly recommend!

Wow! Simply the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Everything about the place was perfect, from driving into the property via the beautiful garden, through to the amazingly furnished cottage with the most beautiful aroma walking in the door. Liz and Michael clearly know about interior decorating! They have thought about absolutely everything. On arrival we found a wonderful cheese and meats platter, breakfast spread, and lovely bottle of Shiraz. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool listening to the birds and enjoying a drink, but you could sit in so many different places and enjoy everything. Liz was so responsive - barely had I sent a message, and the response was in the inbox! Only issue is that this was the first AirBnB for my Aunty - now she’ll think they are all this good! Thank you very much Liz and Michael we will definitely be back!

The space was ideal for our group catch up in Denman. Such a gem of a place to stay and the extra’s provided by Maria were unexpected, but very welcome. We particularly liked having both great indoor and outdoor spaces where we could gather to eat, drink and catch up. We could walk or bike ride wherever we wanted to go. Would definitely stay again 💗

Really enjoyed my stay at Hillview over New Years. The house itself is very comfortable and clean, and easily accommodated all 4 of us. We took full advantage of the pool during the hot days we had while we were there- which was definitely a highlight of our stay. The town is charming, and has everything you could need for a country getaway. Jenine was also very helpful in providing more information on the house and property prior to arrival. Would definitely consider coming back!

Had the pleasure of staying here whilst in town for work. It comfortably fit myself and 4 other adults. The dual living with 2 kitchens and bathrooms made mealtime manageable with a full house l. Short walking distance to Woolworths and the main street of town, aircon and T.V's in each room is a bonus also. Jono is an excellent host very responsive and very approachable with any request. We had to extend our stay a little longer in which Jono had no issues in making it possible, he even sourced us some alternate accomodation for a few days when the house was unavailable. Highly recommended staying here for whatever your needs as a group. Thanks again Jono
