Apartment vacation rentals in Upper Austria

Great venue and location. Ruth's space was well-equipped including a kitchen with all of the amenities including spices and oil. The apartment was large and comfortable. Ruth's bookshelf had guidebooks for Salzburg, which was thoughtful and helpful. Note that a washer and dryer is available but the cost is 3 euros per use. The neighbourhood is walkable and transit to downtown easy to access and close by. We had a car and we appreciated that we could park it for free. Ruth was easy to reach and responded quickly. We will stay here again on our next trip to Salzburg!

Our stay at this place was perfect! The apartment was super clean and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is great – central but still quiet. Hans was extremely friendly and always quick to reach if we had questions. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolutely recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Isabella and Gerhard's lovely place. They are both so kind, friendly, and delightful to talk to. Their apartment is perfect: sunny, clean, and bright with tasteful attention to details. They both were so accomodating to having my daughter and my 3 1/2 year old grandson who also live in Altmunster visit me. Their garden even has two bunnies which my grandson loved to feed and try to pet! The village is so charming and the landscape is stunning, with view of the mountains in the distance. I will so miss the peacefulness and tranquility of their apartment. For certain, I will be returning again and again! I would choose to only stay there as they made my stay so special. Many many thanks.

The forest house is an exceptionally beautiful place to relax! Our apartment was cozy and clean, the surroundings are wonderful, the deer graze right outside the door, so to speak. From there, many hiking trails and great views can be reached quickly by car. Ariane and her whole family are really friendly, accommodating and likeable. We'll come back 😊 sometime Thank you for the lovely stay!

It was a modern clean home that exactly matched the listing. The beds had sturdy mattresses and slatted bases so you could sleep well. We have nothing to complain about

good place to stay if visiting salzburg. very easy to the centre on the bus, once every 30 minutes from 1 minute out the door. in a nice village with cafe and restaurants, and lovely walkable to the zoo. the apartment was big and we'll equipped.

Incredible stay! Beautiful, clean, modern and perfectly located in the old city center within very easy walking distance of most of Salzburg city’s attractions. Despite the historical location and everything in such close proximity, it was amazingly quiet inside, as well. Beds were comfortable. Very spacious modern bathroom with modern amenities. Elevator made travel up and down the levels a non-factor. Ben was very communicative and helpful throughout. We even asked if he knew where we could buy something (something we should have brought) and a couple hours later, he messaged us and let us know he picked it up for us and left it at the front door! Couldn’t be a kinder host! We would definitely stay again.

How often do you get the chance to stay somewhere that was originally built in the 1300's? And that is in remarkable condition? Or that is right in the heart of the best part of the old town in Salzburg? My wife and I absolutely loved this spacious apartment, which combined amazing history and excellent modern amenities (the bathroom and shower area are new, stylish, perfect for the space and somehow a harmonious design with all of the beautiful vintage cabinetry). In addition, the windows are dual paned in the living room and bedrooms, so it is blissfully quiet when it's time to sleep. The beds were very comfortable and having a choice of where to dine -- either in the kitchen or in the living room -- was great. As stated in the listing, there is not an elevator in this building, so you have to be ready to get your bags up the stairs. All I can tell you is, it is totally worth it. Thank you, Severin!

We spent six weeks at Barbara's place, if we had any questions, she responded in a short time. It felt like a real home! Comfortable furniture, beds, fully equipped kitchen, bath and shower in the bath, huge terrace, very quiet neighborhood <3 The furniture and accessories are also demanding and nice. It felt good to live there for a few weeks. Close, walking distance to Spar and Billa. And the neighborhood is really amazing, the city, the mountains and lakes, with a lot of waterfalls, walking paths, it's unforgettable! Thank you Barbara for being such a good host!

We had a great stay. The apartment was as pictured and impeccably clean. The host was very welcoming with lots of information about the house and places to visit. We'll be happy to go back.

Franz's place was a very nice place. It is close to a lot of wonderful food places like Vinothek and Stadtkrug. Everyone around the town was kind and always wishing to say hi. The mountains were beautiful everywhere you went looked like a postcard. The train station was within walking distance so you can easily take a day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Most importantly Fran was responsive and always checked in to see how we were. Highly recommend.

The stay at the place was perfect all around. Jacqueline welcomed us in a very friendly way and was a great hostess who leaves nothing to be desired. The AirBnb is located in the countryside, with plenty of privacy and coziness to wind down and relax. And the way to Salzburg is not far. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Birken Suite! The 4 days of "relaxation " for us were perfect and the apartment really offers a lot of privacy. Fresh eggs were delivered to the door every morning – a lovely touch! Breakfast could also be booked. Surroundings is quiet, ideal for forgetting the stress of everyday life. The hot tub has enough privacy, which made the stay even more enjoyable. There was nothing missing in the apartment overall, everything was great! It is beautifully decorated and decorated. a dream of a place to stay and if possible we would give a 10 points rating! Everything from the rural, quiet and private location, with fantastic mountain scenery, to the equipment of the kitchen (which had absolutely everything you could want) was just perfect! The heated hot tub & sauna invite you to relax after hiking or cycling in the fantastically beautiful area. Highest recommendation for the spa suite and high praise to the hosts for so much attention to detail and design! If we are planning a vacation in the area again, we won't have to think long about where to go! 🤗🥰
