Vacation rentals with a fire pit in University City, Philadelphia

This was a personal experience. 1st time bringing guest to visit my family and hometown. So staying at Sam’s place was a good first impression. The place was neat and clean. The host was responsive and very helpful when needed. The next door neighbors were also friendly. I would definitely recommend for a comfortable place to stay.

We have two less-than-friendly dogs which has made visiting family in PA very difficult for us the past few years. Lana’s place was perfect for us and allowed us to come down for Christmas for the first time in a while! The dogs loved the big backyard and felt very comfortable inside. We loved the great central location and clean interior! It was easy to get to the highway and plenty of great parks, walks, and coffee shops close by! Will definitely be staying again to visit family and friends in the area!

We had a great stay! Cute street and neighborhood. All amenities as described. We walked for dinner at Royal Tavern which was awesome. Walked for bagels and coffee in AM. Easily fit two families with kids across the rooms/beds. Perfect.

The house was very meticulous cared for. Everything was neat and clean. The finished basement with computer desk and laundry area was thoughtful although we didn’t utilize that. My husband and children and I visited for family to watch the Super Bowl in the city that we are from. We got to do exactly that and show our children how Philadelphia looks in celebration of the win. The only thing we missed was television in the bedrooms since our children are younger. There is only one TV in the living room. We had tablets and all otherwise and with the WiFi it was an amazing experience! We would definitely stay here again. I felt very comfortable with our family because of the cleanliness! 100% recommend and thank you so much for your hospitality :-)

Wonderful place, it was beautifully renovated and tons to do in the house. No need to leave! We had an amazing time and stayed preoccupied with all the games available! Clean as well! Would stay again if we ever go back to that area! Loved it!

This is my favorite Airbnb in Philadelphia! It’s rare to find a place with this much space in such a fun walkable neighborhood. The home is top of the line with upgrades galore. The beds are so comfortable and there are big tvs and cozy furniture for your chill time. The kitchen and living area are open concept and make entertaining friends and family a pleasure. Best of all- the four parking spots which are very hard to find in Manayunk! We also enjoyed the front porch and the back patio and will check out the rooftop deck next time. Mark is an excellent host and we will definitely be back!

Duane was an awesome host. The home is beautiful with a rich history — definitely puts you in the mood to explore one of America’s historic founding cities. Easy access to great restaurants and shopping. We will be back!

Rob was a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The space was clean, well laid out and furnished. We were able to host a brunch while also feeling cozy when on our own. Rob was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

I have to say I genuinely loved everything about this stay. The location is super peaceful and quiet. The home is comfy and exactly as shown in the pictures. 10/10 would stay again.

We came back to PA for Christmas and stayed here for 5 days. Added bonus, we had a dusting of snow which made it all the more inviting. We are from this area, and found the location to be central to visit all our relatives. Rose Valley itself is a very cool area, and this apartement, which is part of a storied estate, sat high on a hill in quiet setting. We, and our dog, felt right at home here and enjoyed our stay. Aaron was very responsive to any questions we had, and made sure we had everything we needed. He was a great host. We would definitley come back and stay when in the area.

I loved this spot for our get away! Just what we needed and the house was just right! It’s more than a hotel and parking was great!!! We had a great weekend and cried leaving! The balcony was everything! It was cold and raining but still! Great weekend and we want to come back!

Had a great time at Swida’s home, beds super comfy, entire home is clean and well decorated. Plenty of space for 7 of us, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Swida answers messages in a few minutes, made everything easy and straightforward. Thank-you!!

please please please travel in one vehicle if you can so you can use the garage. my car was broken into during my stay. (Not the host fault at all ppl just suck) Other than that beautiful home.

I had the pleasure of staying at Najia’s place for nearly a week, and it was truly a delightful experience. This beautiful Airbnb exudes the charm of a Mediterranean home, with its stunning décor and thoughtful touches. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Philadelphia and its suburbs. One very minor note is that the windows, adorned with gorgeous glass decorations, but it’s hardly an issue if you’re comfortable keeping the lights on. Overall, it’s a wonderful stay, and I would happily return!
