Vacation rentals with a fire pit in University City, Philadelphia

We were visiting our kid at Haverford College and Sophia's place was an ideal home base. The location is great: easily walkable to Haverford, and even closer to a bunch of nice restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house itself is half of duplex, like virtually this entire neighborhood, but the homes were built around 1900 and are solid brick; we couldn't hear a sound from the neighbors. Sophia's house is nicely updated with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding. The only caveat I would mention to prospective visitors: both bathrooms are upstairs, so this would not be a good house for somebody with mobility issues as you'll have to run upstairs multiple times throughout the day. We will definitely put this high on the list of places to stay when visiting Haverford, and are looking forward to our next visit.

For being right by Interstate 95, Andi's place was cozy, inviting and provided a great home for me and my extended family -- and we didn't even get to use the expansive back yard because it was too cold outside!

Had an absolutely great weekend staying at Marks home , Not only is the home fascinating as it's filled with interesting artifacts and antiques but it also has almost any amenity you could think of. Mark himself was an absolute gentleman, A cultured indudivudal who will go above and beyond for your stay. Would gladly come back any time and will definitely do so the next time I am in town.

Nice home, lots of space! Had 10 guest over for a gift exchange and it was more than enough space for us all. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again! Thanks.

Positives: 3 bathrooms, each with a shower; location is close to a grocery store. Negatives: The dishes were not clean when we arrived; more blankets would have been nice; location overall is not amazing. Overall we had a good experience. I would stay again.

Need a place to stay in Philly? This 5 star property is the place to reserve! Recently in town for a tour of the many historical sites in Philly and also an Eagles football game and this place was perfect! Perfect for all the reasons for anyone that books places to stay when they visit out of town - clean, organized, roomy, and stocked from spices to dishes, and from coffee to lotions! Absolutely stress free rental which is what we expect but not always given. With this rental and the support of Jessica,you will enjoy your stay! Also top on our list as renters is sense of safety and location and more 5 stars for that! If you are taking a Philly trip, this place should be your number 1 choice! The icing on the cake - The rooftop Hot tub! It is incredible! Thank you Jessica!

Ryan’s property was as described and great for a weekend stay in Philly with friends. Plenty of space to relax in between shows at the amphitheater in Camden which was an easy, quick ride from the property. Enjoyed the rooftop deck for a nightcap after a fun filled day. Ryan was very responsive to inquiries and a pleasure to interact with before and during our stay. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, watering holes in short walk or drive from the property in Northern Liberties and Fishtown. Penn’s Landing was a pleasant 15 minute walk away along the waterfront. We will certainly keep this property in mind when staying in Philly.

We were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving- Magnolia Garden was the perfect fit for our stay. The place itself was very reasonably priced; cute, quaint, clean & quiet- ideal for our needs on this trip. Deniqua was an excellent host: informative, clear & non-invasive in all the best ways. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting family & would 10/10 recommend!

Great place as described! As previous reviews have noted the stairs are very steep. We did have to supervise the kids on them, but in the end it all worked out fine! Street parking was sometimes a challenge but we never had to park more than a block away. Didn’t get to use the cool fire pit. This would be a great house for hanging out and walking the area to explore!
