Great place for big family gathering. Lots of space to eat and sleep and play outside! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some- thank you for hosting our thanksgiving

We were a group of 4 old friends and our younger kids. Everything about this place was perfect for our get away. There are essentially two sides of the house with 2 kitchens. So when some of the kids wanted to be wild, the others could retreat to the other side of the house for more peace and quiet. The hot tub was amazing for everyone. The swing is all it's cracked up to be - a must try. We LOVED the beds - I am very particular with beds and these were wonderful. They are not too firm, but firm enough with what felt like a bamboo foam topper - perfect. Kitchens were perfectly stocked with all the supplies we needed. This really is the best place to go if you want to unwind and relax with friends and family. Remote enough to feel like an escape, but not too far removed that it's hard to find. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back. Thank you Ken!!

We had a great stay at Erin's place. First of all, she was very proactive and quite responsive with communication, and ensured we had a smooth check-in and had all that we needed once we arrived. Space was exactly as advertised, and spotless! She has thought of every last detail, with snacks/soaps/shampoo, extra pillows/blankets, etc. I understand why this place gets 5-star reviews! We will definitely stay here again on our trips to Bloomington (and even Nashville/Brown County, as it is an easy drive east). Thank you for a great trip!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 7 with something to do for everyone and enough space to spread out or gather together. The weather was not great, but the cabin had plenty to do inside. We definitely recommend and would love to return sometime. We appreciated all the extra amenities and conveniences as well - K cups, snacks, chargers and extension cords everywhere, games, puzzles, and gaming systems. The dining table turned ping pong or pool table was a hit also! Melissa has thought of it all! Great host!

This was our second stay at The Hideaway, and it was just as lovely as the first! Gerri’s attention to detail makes it feel like home. She provides a fantastic variety of coffee options, from a traditional coffee pot to multiple K-cups. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, and the bathroom is stocked with essentials like a hair dryer, shampoo, plenty of towels, and even a separate door for privacy between the shower/toilet and sink area. The beds are incredibly comfortable, including the Murphy bed in the living room. The living room itself is cozy and well-furnished, with reclining sofas and an amazing massage chair. As someone who grew up in Brown County, this place brings back the comforts of home. It’s also in a perfect location, very private, but close to all the shopping and attractions in Nashville. I couldn’t recommend The Hideaway more!

Great cozy weekend spot. Host was very responsive on the few minor issues we had and resolved them quickly. Highly recommend, already planning a summer return.
