Our mountain sanctuary

ShaunRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a great find. A centuries old log built cabin in the Applalachians on the Tenn/NC border. Minutes away from the AT, and plenty of other hiking around. Best part was sitting on the porch rocking in the rocking chair listening to the sounds of the creek just feet away. Holly was there on my arrival to greet me and was so friendly and it really shows she cares for the cabin and her guests. I definitely will be back to stay and do some more hiking and unplug for a bit.

Wolf Laurel, Million $ Home, Elevator, Hot Tub

kristin Rating, 5 stars12 months ago
This was our fourth time at this home. Our first time under new management. We love this home, not only for the spectacular views, but for the elevator and the ability to bring aging parents. The home has everything large families need. Plenty of space, blankets, games, movies, fireplace, and a full kitchen. A special treat was that we saw deer in the backyard, from one of the bedroom windows. Staying here allows hiking access up to Big Bald and the nature trails, which never gets old no matter how many times we've hiked them. This trip we experienced every season with a mix of snow and rain the first couple of days and then sunny the last two days. We enjoy the large balcony for weather watching, magnificent views and simply taking in the quiet and clean mountain air. The new management company's communication was great. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their home year after year. We've made many unforgettable memories in this home and hope to continue to do so.

Check in was amazingly easy . Location was even better. The wildlife doesn’t know it’s wild so the dear graze with the cattle in the front of the cabin . Clean and tidy with all amenities needed to actually live while away from home . Will be staying again there soon!!

DeaconCreek Den near Jonesborough

This property was absolutely perfect for me. I’m far from the average guest, I work in disaster recovery and when deployed it’s typically for months at a time. Mrs. Monica has absolutely been the greatest help I could ever hope for. The property is neat and clean. The location perfectly suits my every needs.

Eudine's Escape

We were in the area for a funeral, Daniel was quick to approve our reservations. His welcome packet was amazing! Everything was laid out and the directions and requirements were clear and precise. Daniel was also quick to respond to any questions that we had. I hope to come back for a longer stay in the future to enjoy the amenities in the area. We absolutely enjoyed the beauty of the creek on the back of the property! My mom enjoyed a little peace and quiet in the hammock, just what the doctor ordered! Beds are so comfortable, I think I’m going to have to order some of the sheets they use, I fell in love with them.

11 Mi to Wolf Ridge Ski Resort: Burnsville Escape

AmyRating, 5 stars17 months ago
This was my first experience staying in an AirBNB and I'm definitely beyond satisfied with our experience from start to finish. Fantastic Host accommodated our every need and even took care of some things we didn't know we needed, but were pleasantly surprised to find. There was so much to do here like fishing, relaxing by the firepit, climbing the hills, walking the trail, more fishing, hanging out with friends inside playing games and puzzles and reading books that were provided. It's secluded and private, but felt very safe. There are also several nearby towns with plenty of good restaurants to eat at. A day trip to Mount Mitchell (highest mountain east of Mississippi) was also enjoyed. I would give this place five-star-plus rating. We were all blown away at the property accommodations and thoughtfulness of the owner. She even baked us a deep dish Apple pie to enjoy since we were staying during Thanksgiving. We will all be back to this place for another vacation!!!
