House vacation rentals in Umzumbe

Robin’s place was really as it was described. He was friendly, always there to assist with anything. We had a great stay.

We when in a very low season time , there was no noise and very little cars which was a plus if you just want to rest with a beautifull sea view from the balcony, we enjoyed the quietness, truly enjoyed a relaxing time ... thank you for allowing us to use the house it was great !!!

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Vicki's place. The house had everything we needed, the view was amazing (dolphins, whales, birds), Vicki was always responsive, and the three minute walk to the beach directly down from the house was perfect. It's a 10 minute beach walk down to the official Umzumbe Beach with its lifeguards/amenities/surfers. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We saw joggers and people walking their dogs, and we always felt quite safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized Regina the helper one day and she was great. As we're not used to setting/disarming alarms, we struggled a bit with the alarm system, but we eventually got the hang of it. We experienced load shedding one evening, but with the propane/gas oven and all of the candles plus large flashlights available, this was actually enjoyable. We plan to return!

Mark and Liza’s cottage is just the sanctuary I needed to escape to ! The love and care that has gone into the decoration of this home makes it such a personal and calming space. I arrived to fresh flowers , muffins , cheeses , crackers - it was such a warm welcome . Liza checked in with me often to make sure everything was ok, even though it was wonderful on all counts. One of the nicest warmest and most private and secure Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks so much Liza. !

Overall, This Place Is Everything We Wanted And More. It Is Spacious,Has A Nice Sea View. Benard Was A Wonderful Host. If You're Looking For A Tranquil,Vibrant Place To Spend Your Holiday. This Is The Place To Go. We're Definitely Going Back!

If you want to feel like you have traveled overseas...then this is the place. Epic house with multiple social areas. We especially enjoyed the pizza oven. The house is an accumulation of many international inspirations and really takes you to another world. Wonderful weekend escape. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was amazing, infinity pool, very nice hosts. We felt very welcome. Sven & Tamara were also very helpfull. They always warned us about the load shedding times. Told us where to go shopping! Stores are in driving distance. The house was very nice, clean and spacious. Will certainly recommand this to everybody. We had a terrific time! And would love to come back some Day!

Upon arrival, Grande Vue surpassed all expectations my friends and I had. It was spacious, clean and modern, which allowed us to settle in quickly and comfortably. Vanessa was very accommodating to my big group, supplying us with everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Thank you Vanessa for hosting us, we had the best time.

The place is beautiful. Cara is a great host, she gives your space and privacy. Flexible check ins and out. It is worth every cent.

The place was just beautiful from the view of the sea to the linen etc. They accommodated us on very short notice and it was an absolute pleasure and we will definitely be going back. The rooms are clean and spacious, the 3 bathrooms were just what we needed. The patio is lovely to sit on as you have the view of the sea. The hosts are very responsive. We had a little problem with one of the switches tripping and had no lights but Hilton drove all the way from Durban north to come and sort it out, I dont think any other host would have done that but he came and was there within the hour of us advising them. Just a really good place to stay very spacious and can accommodate a lot of people, we were 7 people and it was just great , served us well. Very sad to have left but it was booked otherwise we would have extended our stay.

We had an awesome stay at Shale Beach House. It has everything you need; you don't have to drive anywhere. It is such a peaceful private area; the sea is literally on your doorstep. We loved the jacuzzi bath, jacuzzi and rim flow pool and the permanent ice maker, but there is so many things that make it comfortable to stay in! Wilson was a delight to deal with, had a really easy check in, he always around if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nelius for opening up your beautiful home!

What a beautiful,spacious and clean space...The sea view is breathtaking too!! What a fantastic host sis Noma is,and Nozipho,the assistant was very friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful place.

lovely accomodation with everything we needed and something for everyone to enjoy had a great stay

Is a perfect spot / easy to beach / well appointed holiday house with enough of everything for u to cook etc and good space . Easy to clean up after kids as the whole place is tiled - swimming pool a big bonus

This place was something else, it was absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings were amazing. The amenities were spot on. This was one of the best Airbnb’s that we have stayed at. As a family of 10 it meant all of our needs and then some. We felt safe and secure as well as comfortable.

Absolutely lived our stay here. Felt like you were on the beach always, could hear the ocean the whole day. The house beautiful and well equipped, clean and just leaves you feeling relaxed. Walking distance to a swim-beach, and if you walk a bit further past the lagoon, beautiful rock pools where we spent hours looking at the fish and even met a resident octopus that we saw every day. It even get my teenagers stamp of approval and they said they would live to go back again. Really worth a visit!

Great place for a peaceful getaway. A few steps to the beach. Quiet, relaxing and safe atmosphere. 24hr guards gave us peace of mind.

Beautiful home. Lots of entertainment in the entertainment area that kept the whole family busy. The house was clean and neat when we arrived. Views are spectacular. Will definitely be visiting again.

The feel of this stay was like walking right into home! We had a super comfortable stay, enjoyed the beach, within just a fee steps down from the house. Work with a sea view from the dedicated work space. Hosts were super and really thought about everything! Just bring your clothes and something for the tummy - and don’t forget your dog! Perhaps the best way to describe Catherine’s place is that it’s an actual home: it displays generous investments of love and thought. I mean that as a praise to distinguish it from the many houses on Airbnb that technically have the essentials but without soul. Our family had a wonderful time here, enjoying the home and its excellent location near stunning beaches. It is truly a gem.

Sunrise on Stiebel Rocks was absolutely stunning. The property was perfect for our large family get together and accommodated us all from a 4year old to a 70year old perfectly. Thandeka the housekeeper is a gem. The property more than met our expectations and we would love to return
