Oakdale Cottage

We are located at the base of Spencers Butte with miles of beautiful hiking trails. Three decks, outside hammock and BBQ. Mexican tiles and hard wood floors. Our cottage is just outside of town, and more often then not you may encounter some dust. We thoroughly clean the cottage between every guest and wash every linen in the cottage. If you are a neat freak, this may not be the place for you. (I am adding this to our beautiful listing to address some 3 star reviews on cleaning, simply false).

Our private cabin nestled in the countryside provides a quiet escape from city living. Resting in a private peaceful clearing, the cabin offers sweeping views of a private pond and lush forest. Despite the rustic scenery the cabin has been recently remodeled and comes fully equipped with all the modern amenities to make you feel right at home. The property is 15 minutes to the University of Oregon, and Wine Country. And a short 25 minute drive SW of the cabin are the Why-pass Mt Bike Trails.

We are located on the way to North Umpqua and the North entrance of Crater lake both boast of beautiful waterfalls and amazing hikes! We are located less than 2 miles off the 5 freeway . The area has everything from restaurants, wineries and outdoor activities. A short 15 minutes away is Wildlife Safari which we offer discount tickets.
