Robin’s place was really as it was described. He was friendly, always there to assist with anything. We had a great stay.

A treat for us, as nature lovers. Super value for two people. We loved lounging on the deck in the breeze watching birds and the endless movement of leaves in the trees - just what was needed as this was our 'micro-holiday' and we were frazzled after a cross country drive! Charlotte was brilliant at explaining what we might need before we knew we needed it. Loved walking the short forest paths. It was Stage 6 load-shedding and a mega heatwave, so it was very hot with no fans - but nothing really seemed to matter! Thank you, we'd come back.

The property is clean, super comfortable and well kept by a fantastic lady named Yvette! My family and my dogs had the best weekend ever, thank you so much Yvette and Justin. We will definitely visit again.

The beach cottage is roomy and inviting and feels just like home. There is enough space for big families with kids, and the amenities are just the right way away from the house which is tucked away from the central hustle and bustle - like every beach holiday should be!

Everything from the moment we arrived to when we left. It felt like going home! Thomas welcomed us into the home after a good 10 hours drive from Mpumalanga. Their home was spotless, the vew to die for, closer to the beach you cant get! Our Scotties also had a blast. The beds were so comfortable. It was sad leaving... Thank you Ann, it was everything as advertised and more...

Great home. Everything was clean, everything we needed was there. The pool was clean. Plenty of parking for all our vehicles. Rooms were spacious. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Caroline the caretaker was very sweet and took care of us all weekend.

My family and I had the most amazing stay in this house! Trust me when I say the picture don’t do justice to when you walk in! The views are amazing the rooms and furniture are spacious and comfy! Its all you want from a holiday home! The host ( Melissa ) was super accommodating, even making sure our little puppies enjoyed their holiday by securing the gate! This is absolute value for money and I already miss it so so much! The house is warm and cozy and instantly makes you feel on holiday when you walk in! Could not have asked for anything better!

Is a perfect spot / easy to beach / well appointed holiday house with enough of everything for u to cook etc and good space . Easy to clean up after kids as the whole place is tiled - swimming pool a big bonus

Beautiful house well equipped and situated walking distance from beach. Magical garden with stunning pool and braai area. We enjoyed the pizza oven. Beautiful rooms with a sea. Squeaky clean bathrooms with luxurious linen. Beautiful kitchen with state of the art fridge and coffee machine. All you meed is in this kitchen. Gracious host that checked in on us and provided all info. Staff on the premises are fantastic. Dog friendly fenced property, beaches and restaurants. We loved every second and will be back. Had a wonderful relaxed family holiday. The house felt very spacious and you have peace of mind with backup power and alarm system. The swimming pool is a great addition that can be enjoyed when not at the beach. An extra shower would be great with larger groups. Fast internet connection and DSTV made it easy to accommodate everyone's needs.

We had an absolutely marvelous stay at Tom and Lalia. From the moment we did the booking until we got home we were taken care of. Great communication, lovely spot with beautiful garden and the inverter was a life saver after a storm knocked the power of the whole town out . Will hopefully see much more of each other soon!

We had an awesome stay at Shale Beach House. It has everything you need; you don't have to drive anywhere. It is such a peaceful private area; the sea is literally on your doorstep. We loved the jacuzzi bath, jacuzzi and rim flow pool and the permanent ice maker, but there is so many things that make it comfortable to stay in! Wilson was a delight to deal with, had a really easy check in, he always around if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nelius for opening up your beautiful home!

The space was very tranquil. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend to people who love the beach and a private peaceful space. The hosts were very friendly
