Vacation rentals with a pool in Uganda

We had a few issues that could have been avoided but Sempijja was pleasant and offered us compensation. House wasn’t cleaned properly but he was extremely apologetic and explained it was an oversight. Suggested they provide drinking water for guests, tea/coffee and basic necessities. Lots of congestion with traffic so try to arrive outside of rush hour. The road in off of Masaka Rd is pretty rough but it’s easy to find. The house, pool and gardens are lovely. It’s very private and fairly quiet during the day, however there is a bar nearby that plays loud music until 4-5 am pretty much every night and a mosque nearby that shouts their call to prayer at 5 am. The fan helped drown out some of the noise. Suggestion - you really need fans for every room. There were only 2 for 6 bedrooms. The pool was amazing and beautiful surroundings. Partly shaded by a large palm which is great if you have sensitive skin. All in all we enjoyed our time and will return.

Whether you’re sinking into deep conversation by the poolside or sipping coffee at sunrise, this place lingers in your soul after you leave. If Lake Victoria has a best kept secret, this is it.

Excellent stay! Prince was a great host and the compound and home were beautiful, exactly as described. Use of the pool and restaurant just across the road were a huge bonus and the location is great - walking distance to many restaurants, groceries, and bars. I hope to visit again!

Kelly’s place was a gem of a villa. Perfect for families, great attention to detail and a wonderful garden. Poolside is serene and the rooms are very comfortable and well styled. Kelly is a great host and great communicator and the staff are welcoming and helpful! Karibu!

We had a wonderful stay at Khadija’s oasis of comfort! The accommodation is very easy to reach from the city center and offers direct shopping options, as well as a safe environment. We really enjoyed our time there – the small pool was definitely a highlight! Everything was exactly as described, and Khadija was an excellent host. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. Thank you for the amazing time!

From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome and genuine care that made our family vacation truly memorable. The staff was super cooperative and polite, always ready to assist with any request or question. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and happiness was evident throughout our stay. Honestly speaking, there's not enough words to describe how privileged i was to stay at Sophie's world! The apartment was exactly as described - clean, cozy, spacious and very private. The Apartment is located in a gated community with very professional 24-hr security guards overseeing access and egress for visitors. The neighborhood is very peaceful which attracts people from different walks of life. Sophie was such a fantastic host, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The little touches, such as extra bed linen, pillows and towels, made my stay feel truly special. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores and attractions, which helped me make the most of my time in Kampala. For anyone out there looking for a comfortable stay, value for money and a welcoming host, I recommend Sophie's world with the highest regard. We enjoyed our stay at Angel’s place. Our kids really enjoyed the playground, check in was easy, and she went above and beyond to communicate with us. Located in a great area, close to restaurants, but also the kitchen is well-equipped if you prefer to dine in.

Beautiful apartment, well-equipped, with an amazing view from the terrace — suitable for a small family or group of visitors. It is a safe and well-located property. Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.

Awesome place right next to Acacia mall. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
