We had an inspiring experience with a place that was perfect. 1. Location - You can walk enough from Shimano Omachi Station. It's about a 20-30 minute walk, so it's not a short distance, but the path to get there is beautiful, so it's good to enjoy the area. 2. Accommodation - The house is consistent with the instructions and is great for a great view through the windows that are open in four directions. The interior structure is fun, the furniture is cleanly maintained, and there is one toilet and bathroom, but it is separated, so there was no major inconvenience for 6 people to visit and use. 3. Host - Perfect host! I had a great one-night experience at the property and was traveling by train for about an hour by train for my next trip, and I found out that I left a bag with my passport in the house...! Our group, who was in a panic, thought about how to do it for a long time, and first contacted the host... something like a miracle happened. The host drove 40km from Shimano Omachi to Matsumoto and delivered the luggage we left behind. Thank you so much, I was so sorry and so impressed. With this one event, we were all very touched by this trip and people. Thank you again And if you are looking for this accommodation, we hope you don't have to worry about it. Lovely big house with convenient location on the outskirts of Yamanochi. The amenities are top notch and it is very spacious and cozy. You have a breathtaking view of the mountain and you can reach the Shiga plateau in about 20 minutes by car and in less than 5 minutes at the parking lot to the Monkey-Onsen. The only downside is the location directly on a noisy main road. At night there is little traffic, but oropax is still recommended...

Apartment was fully furnished with everything a traveller needs. Room has floor heating, dishwasher, an easy to operate kitchen and a smart tv. Would definitely recommend to others.

we had a wonderful time snowboarding in hakuba valley with michael’s place as a base. it’s fully equipped with basic cooking equipment, washing machine and nice common areas to hang out with your friends.

What a fantastic place and a wonderful host! Traveling from the US to Japan can be daunting. But Daniel gave us plenty of options and directions for getting from Tokyo to his place in Iwatake. He even arranged for a driver to pick us up from the bus station. During our trip he was always available for questions and recommendations. Also, his place is literally ski in/ski out. The closest lift was about 25 yards from the front door. The apartment was clean, modern, and well appointed. Overall, the apartment (along with the excellent hospitality from Daniel and his staff) made our trip easy and memorable. We’ll definitely go back!

We stayed at this cabin for about five days, and the price was well worth the value for the area and time spent. The hosts were communicative, informative, and responsive to our needs and requests. I recommend that anyone with a family looking for a place to stay in Hakuba consider this place.

What a beautiful stay in Hakuba. Exceeded our expectations. Greg was an amazing host, super friendly and helpful, and full of local knowledge and recommendations. The rental car included was fantastic. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! 😊

Excellent and comfortable house in echoland. This place is a short walk to all the local restaurants and has all the amenities you could want for a holiday.
