Fully refurbished cosy cottage

MorganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for a few days to visit Zip World and walk snowdon! The area is lovely! Local pub and shop! The place is in a quiet village and we hardly noticed anyone around, very peaceful! Overall, it was extremely clean and tidy - just a lovely place to stay and felt right at home! Clear instructions and Kevin was very responsive! There’s so many lovely walks around too! Would 100% stay again!

Group holiday- 4 king size beds!

EmilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A beautiful place to stay inside and out. The house is finished to a very high standard, with a lovely kitchen with a big table, and comfy bedrooms. There's a nice outside space with a table and a friendly horse in the next field. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Rhian was a responsive and friendly host. We will definitely come back again!

The Warm Hearth: The Stables

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

Seabreeze

ClareRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Absolutely amazing house. We stayed with our 9 month old daughter, her grandparents and our 1 year old Labrador and still had plenty of room. Beach is 5-10 min walk away with a beach club pub to stop in on the way home for a beer! Beach is absolutely incredible. Overall perfect house for a family especially if you have a dog who loves a good run on the sand!

Glorious peaceful location close to the beach

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Another lovely stay at Erw. Despite experiencing strong winds all weekend, Kay's home was warm and cosy. Sitting with a coffee watching sunrise over the mountains was such a treat, as was the deserted beach. No swimming this time as the waves were just too wild, but when it's not the middle of a storm, the sea is sandy with a gentle slope into the water - perfect for a cold water dip! Jeff the dog enjoyed his daily walk from the house, along the beach to the estuary and then back round to the house across the salt marshes (dogs on lead for this bit as it's pasture land) Enjoyed some fab food at The Victoria in Llanbedr - a 5 minute drive back towards Barmouth. Booking recommended as it gets busy.

Comfort & tranquility off the beaten track

JaneRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had the most lovely holiday at King Grove. The spotless cottage was very welcoming to walk into, full of polished wood, ornaments and pictures with a teapot, milk and biscuits all ready for us after a long journey. There is a great wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, cosy beds, and absolute peace and quiet. We slept so well! There was everything we could need in the cottage, including information on walks and a tempting collection of intriguing books. King Grove is set in a beautiful hidden valley in a wider area of stunning Shropshire landscape. We spent our days walking and visiting castles! Leena and Geoff live next door and they have designed their wonderful garden so that guests have plenty of private seating areas. They are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return.
