We had a relaxing time celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. John’s home was inviting and clean and provided everything we needed during our stay. We really enjoyed getting out on the beautiful lake on the paddle board and kayaks. We will definitely come back!

Private Lakefront Fishing Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, which was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. With wooded areas on both sides and the lake behind, it felt very private and immersed in nature. It was fascinating to sit by the lake or watch the changing scene through the glass doors, with cardinals and other birds at the feeders, squirrels running around, and the movement of the water or trees in the breeze. Next time we’d bring binoculars to get a closer look at the different breeds of ducks swimming by. There is no shower and the deep soaking tub would have been difficult to use at our age, so we just managed without it for our short stay. Everything else was provided for a relaxing getaway and Robert was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you, Robert!

My husband and I came into town for a business trip. This little gem is just what we needed. The cabins are well kept and clean. Spacious bathroom. We enjoyed the waterfront pavilion that evening with music and a glass of wine while going over work. Hearing the bullfrogs while falling asleep at night was peaceful too! Highly recommend.

The house was perfect the only thing we needed and didn't have was washclothes and bodywash or bath soap. The weekend was perfect and the flowers were amazing and I hope you don't mind but I filled up your hummingbird feeder they were at your house😀

Justin’s place was a home away from home in a quiet relaxing environment on the riverside. Great for outdoor activities or just sitting outside enjoying nature. S’mores was a hit for our family. Weather was perfect. Everything in the home was as described on the listing. Kid friendly loft was a plus for us. Highly recommend if you need a peaceful get-away.

I stayed here for work because it was conveniently located. It was clean and cozy and I liked that it was in its own private spot. Easy to park two vehicles with trailers. The responses were always quick any time I needed something. Would come back if I worked in the area again.

A delightful cottage in the woods! The house is well maintained and was squeaky clean. The beds were soft and comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking and baking necessities as well as extra amenities for hot beverages. A lovely place and we look forward to returning!

Had and enjoyable stay here. The location is just minutes outside of woodville but in a private area. Our host was very helpful and all around a cool guy. The stay had several unique aspects that made this stay feel very welcoming. thanks again and we'll look forward the the next time

The home was clean and comfortable. The river access was perfect, free of rocks and debris so the kids could play. Throw blankets were great for the living room (inevitably someone is always cold). Other air bnbs only have the blankets on the bed. Shon was incredibly helpful and responds nearly immediately. We had a wonderful, successful family trip.

This place is peaceful, calm, quiet, and refreshing. C had cookies and stress-free tea bags waiting for us…a 3 generational retreat. Beds we’re comfortable, kitchen well stocked, great bathrooms. Easy check in and out. We really enjoyed the ability to watch the Series, catch fish, and peddle boat. But the best was coffee on the porch in these amazing rocking chairs! Thanks for an amazing stay!!

My wife and I enjoyed three nights in this well-kept cozy and private little cabin while we explored the Big Thicket Preserve. It had everything we needed - complete kitchen, comfortable bed, lots of hot water and a nice porch where one can sit and enjoy the evenings. A real gem.

This is an amazing place to stay! We loved the walking trails, there was tons of space for our group, and enjoyed the rustic atmosphere. If we are ever in that part of Texas again, we definitely want to come back! Akin was an incredible host and easy to communicate with.
