Comfy, cozy home. Hosts were quick to respond and went above and beyond. Nice quiet area and the amenities in the home were a great bonus. Had everything we needed for a relaxing family trip. Thank you!

Overall a very pleasant stay. Place was clean & plenty of firewood available. Plenty of places to eat within 5 miles. It would be nice if I understood the layout of the house a little better before I booked - the information may be available in the listing, my bad if I missed it. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs but both bathrooms are downstairs. One bathroom is inside master bedroom downstairs & the other is right outside the entrance to the master bedroom. House has a nice rustic feel but carpet could use an update. Living room area seemed smaller than the photo & is a bit cluttered w furniture, easy to bump into things. As the listing said, you do need 2 people to remove/replace the hot tub cover & you need to do it while 1 person is standing in the hot tub to place it back on properly. My stay was from 11/29-12/1 & there was about 5 inches of snow on the ground. Snow was in the driveway, front/back porch, snow/ice on the 2 steps to the hot tub & on top of hot tub cover.

This was a perfect little getaway for my birthday weekend! Very clean, looked exactly like the pictures & very cozy! Felt right at home! Definitely recommend !

The house was adorable and very clean. Close to lots of things to do. We enjoyed our family time.

The house was exactly as the pictures depicted. It was very clean and the floor plan made it quite spacious. The decor made it very homey and suited the location. Sue was an excellent host. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and her directions for check-in were spot on. The house is located close to many attractions — Jim Thorpe, Mount Airy Casino, Big Pocono State Park, Camelback, etc… I would highly recommend Sue’s home as a perfect home away from home in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

Our family loved our stay, we especially really appreciated all the amenities for our young children, toys, crib, tableware, ect.

Where should I begin, this lake house is beautiful. All you can ask for in a home. My family and I were surprised that a Christmas tree was up and the house was decorated. It felt so cozy. The lake house is super clean and she even left us a bottle of wine. The view is spectacular especially as I enjoyed my cup of Joe in the early morning. I had a short stay but Iam definitely coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Did I also mentioned the hot tub, super clean and relaxing. Kelly was very attentive and sweet. There's a fire place inside and out where my kids did smores and also had fun using the private playground while we enjoyed the hot tub. it was a win win. Thank you again for a great stay will surely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita's place! The house looked just like the photos—cozy and well-maintained. After Thanksgiving, we spent a day relaxing with the fireplace, firepit, hot tub, and grill. Another day, we visited the community center to walk around the lake, play billiards, and check out the game room, which was a fun addition to our trip. Rita was a great host—very responsive and helpful. She even gave us a ride back to the house when I had trouble finding a charging station for our electric car. We also forgot some earrings, and Rita kindly mailed them back to us. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this house!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and comfortable home. The location is incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I would definitely choose to stay here again. The house was very clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The large L shaped sofa was perfect for our whole family to sit in front of the fireplace (BTW not pictured on the listing, needs to be updated, as well as other photos). We have stayed at another of this owners properties twice before and both are great!

This is our second time visiting the cabin and we love it because you can relax and the best thing is that the river is behind the yard and you can fish right there. Earl is very friendly, always responds quickly and the cabin is very clean, it is a perfect place to relax, we hope to return soon.

We were first time visitors to Jim Thorpe and we were so fortunate to have stayed at The Van Pelt House! It was an ideal location, we walked everywhere and returning each day felt like coming home. The house is beautiful, snug, and comfortable. Helen even left us snacks and a bottle of wine. The back deck and the fire pit patio was wonderful and a great place to relax. Helen was the perfect host and we very much look forward to returning.

She is very nice, she was always attentive to what I needed and was kind enough to provide me with places to which my family and I could have fun and eat well, she is attentive and has a very good attitude.

Saachi & Kanishk's home was as a charming, woodland-encased jewel. Here, my family and I felt just secluded enough to relax and unwind with local amenities still only a five-minute drive away. The accommodations were most comfortable—great beds and linens—and the kitchen was well equipped enough to meet any cooking demands. While we didn't take advantage of the games and hot tub, they were great to have on hand, ready to go. Simply sitting in the living room or around the dining room table enjoying conversation was enough. Many thanks to the hosts!

Erica was very kind responding my text messages in a holiday. The pictures are as shown. The heaters in the rooms worked well ( they are baseboard heaters) and you can adjust the temperature in each room. I used my humidifier in the kids room because the air got too dry for them. The beds were comfortable. I was looking to know the town of Jim Thorpe and it is 30 minutes driving from there. It was good to enjoy warm shower after spending long time outdoors, the fire pit was great for s’mores. We loved to see deers so close walking by the backyard. Erica house was good for us. Than you!!

Amazing place! Definitely will go again! Only little thing we noted was that there was no blender… but nothing major! One of the best Airbnb we’ve reserved! Lots to do around and super clean.

Kevin and Enza’s get away is an AMAZING property. It is truly a mini paradise, we went closer to winter and the views and scenery were incredible. The home is dog friendly which is huge and the rivers and forest were a heaven for our pup. We went as a family and the home was family friendly but still allowed us as a couple to enjoy our time together near a fire in the yard while being able to see our children through the window! We loved exploring the mini islands and were blown away but the fast responses, cute snores box and other small amenities that added a special touch! It was muddy when we went but that didn’t stop us from having fun! (The shower is amazing but takes some test tries to figure out😅) will forever recommend this place to friends and family!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at Howan’s place in the Poconos! The first snow of the season made the cozy and well-maintained home feel magical. The serene location and beautiful snowy views made it a perfect holiday getaway. Howan was a thoughtful and responsive host—highly recommend!
