Our stay in the Lakeland Lodge was just perfect. The history of the lodge was fascinating and it really didn’t disappoint. The lodge itself was well furnished with great attention to detail and was extremely comfortable. The surroundings were just a visual delight. The views from the hot tub were beautiful and we were very lucky that the sun came out for us in January which made us feel we were transported elsewhere. There are lots of little areas around the lodge with seating to capture different moods and sunlight and even a chill out area inside. As a host Lorcan was easily contactable, friendly and provided all the information we needed and more and couldn’t ask for better. We would definitely love to book to come back here and hope to revisit in the near future.

This wee cabin is like something out of the movies . Beautiful surroundings and gorgeous cabin . We had planned to go out and about when we got there but we just wanted to make the most and didn’t want to leave! Pictures really don’t do it justice. Amy was helpful and responsive. Wished we had booked two nights . There’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas We took Amy’s recommendation and did the cave tour after we checked out . Perfect finish to a night away !

Our second visit to the cottage, and much like our first visit, we were not disappointed! Liam was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He had left fresh bread, milk and homemade cake for our arrival which was lovely. The cottage was cosy as the range had been lit, and there was fuel available to keep it going. The secluded location and cosy bed/ fresh linen meant we slept brilliantly, and the enclosed outside space was perfect for our dog. Our second visit, but definitely not our last; we would highly recommend!

Beautiful secluded large modern open plan property with unreal sea views. The house was perfect-its on a small rural road but really close to Donegal town and local beaches. We stayed for a week, 2 days we never left the house as its so relaxing. Our host Lorraine left great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do and we just went down the list and each one was spot on. Some great meals and some really brilliant days out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
