The house is beautiful and very charming, in a lovely village. The area is very relaxing, with a lovely view from the roof terrace over the mountains. The local people are very friendly and we enjoyed a few evenings in Piki bar which is 2 minutes walk from the house. Floris was really helpful and communicated very well ahead of our trip and whilst we were out there. We would definitely recommend Canar and this house specifically for anyone looking for a relaxing stay away

Frigiliana We selected Camilas house for our one-week stay because of the beautiful surroundings of Frigiliana and we did not regret our choise. We enjoyed the Moresque influenced clean but robust design of the house, the remote sea view as well as the peaceful surrounding nature. A car is definitely a must for accessing this hillside location, but actually it took us less than five minutes to drive to Frigiliana and twenty to Nerja and the coast. The house is spacey with a well equipped kitchen, small dining room, large bedrooms and cozy sittning areas, several outfoor terraces giving opportunity to enjoy the sun or shadow throughout the day. We did not miss the TV at all. Heating elements were provided in every room. We also enjoyed the pool area! We found nice restaurants in nearby Frigiliana and visited also the magnificent Nerja caves and made one day-trip to Alhambra. Camila and Pati (the local host) were always friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with.

Remote escape to Andalusian countryside. The villa was lovely. Quiet, peaceful & idyllic. Situated atop a hill with unobstructed views across hills & plantations with sea in the distance. The villa was clean, comfortable, and with all essentials. Some people may find this villa too isolated, but this is what we wanted (needed!). There is a small supermarket in Benamargosa (10 min drive), and large hypermarket in Vélez-Málaga (30 min). You'll need to travel distance to eat out. Challenging 10 min drive between Benamargosa & the villa: single windy mountain track and last minute on unsealed road - safe but for a confident driver. Take it slow & you'll be fine (the drive to the reservoir is more challenging, & don't turn left at the STOP sign down onto Cala Ermita unless your car is small!). We stayed in March, so chilly evenings indoors (wood fire was cosy), but ideal for warmer months. Only struggle was water pressure/flow in showers. Wilm a very helpful & responsive host. Would return.

Quiet house with sea views

We had a fantastic family holiday, especially because of the heated pool which meant we could all swim in February, the fabulous views, and the flowering plants in the garden. The house gave us all the accommodation we needed as a large, three-generation group. Great, large BBQ, lovely bedlinen and very comfortable beds. The host, Jose Maria, is such a lovely gentleman who made us feel easy, relaxed and welcome. It is a shame that the urbanisation does not have pedestrian paths, but the actual home is very tastefully presented and extremely well-equipped, both in the two kitchens and throughout, with numerous towels, and plenty of sunloungers etc. The tennis/football area nearby was also a great facility. Salobrena is a short drive and has a range of supermarkets, municipal market and restaurants. Almuñécar is twenty minutes drive and has wonderful beaches, promenade and lots of beach cafes etc. A lovely town to visit.

The first time we used Airbnb and hopefully they will all be like this, great accommodation (close to the beach, leisure, etc.) very well equipped, everything new and Stefan is just the BEST, super friendly, flexible and helpful, we will definitely be back.

We had a great time in Almuñécar. The apartment is fully tastefully renovated, very well equipped and perfectly located. The balcony and the breathtaking view to the sea are also very nice. I want to report the responsiveness of the hosts who found us a baby bed and a high bed to facilitate our stay. We know where to stay the next time we come to Almuñécar!

Great location with beautiful view and views around it. Good amenities for all the important equipment and utensils for cooking and living. Unfortunately, we did not have any garbage bags and Zewa. These things are forgotten when shopping 🥲 Overall place was very clean and well ventilated. But mosquitoes can come in. Would recommend.

David & Jacqui are incredibly lovely hosts. You can tell at all times that your well-being is very important to them. From your arrival to your departure. Wonderful people who become friends. The accommodation is beautiful. Of course, the view deserves special mention. The sea and the mountains are at your feet. A place where you can completely relax. WiFI is up to date, works perfectly and there are some books and TV. The spa area is very spacious and the pool is beautiful. You can walk to Comares, where there are shops and restaurants. A beautiful place for which holidaymakers come from far and wide. You get to know the world anew while you relax under almond and olive trees. Your dogs are an added bonus to make you feel at home. The open-plan living area is very nice. They pay attention to detail to make you feel at home. The barbecue&wine is ready and there is plenty of space to relax. Dear ones, it was very nice with you, see you next time. Best regards Olav & Lisa

Monte de los Almendros in Salobrena is a beautiful and calm area. Las Vistas has perfect location on a hillside outlooking the sea. It is surrounded with beautiful other houses, both new and old. It was a delight to have breakfast on the upper floor balcony, sunbathing by the pool side and enjoying the spectacular views. If you prefer to stay at the house, the kitchen is well equipped, but if you prefer to drive down to Salobrena (10 minutes), there is a beautiful beachline full of nice chiringuitos. We stayed for a month and during that time we made a few trips to the surrouding areas. Malaga, Nerja, Frigiliana or Granada were not too far away, but often we chose to stay at the house. Communication and practicalities with Claude worked very well. We hope to return soon to Las Vistas.

Paul is very nice, the apartment is beautiful, nevertheless some smells coming up from the shower but you can't help it. The apartment is very well located a little away from the city center but very easy to access. We had a great time and I'm not disappointed overall. I would highly recommend it! Ilana.

It was a great location to explore Andalucia. There were plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby and a large supermarket close by. Central location close to Malaga, Frigliana, Nerja and other locations by car. The apartment had all the facilities we needed for our holiday stay. Borja was a wonderful host and made us feel like home. Very responsive, clear in communications and friendly. We were greeted with some nice local food and drink goodies to start our vacation. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing views the best we’ve ever experienced from any apartment… !! Really helpful host, Charis is responsive and gave us a great welcome - We spent a month at the apartment, it is well equipped.. with wonderful outdoor furniture - The weather was superb with an morning sunrise and the warm hot sun lighting up the sea scape on the balcony until 2.30pm. We then dropped down to the best sandy beach in La herradura which is just below the apartment, the sea was warm enough to swim in February (like a summers day in the UK) … it was fantastic !!

Just got back from a 10 night stay at this fabulous villa. Very well equipped for self- catering. Air conditioning and wifi access very good. Views of the mountains at the front of the property and views of the sea from the back. Large private garden area. Within a 5 min walk of two large pools. Also close to Cave Bar and restaurant. The beach and Nerja town are a 20 min walk downhill and a 30 min walk back up the hill. However there is a very reliable bus service every hour for 1 euro each way. There are also two large supermarkets within a 10 min walk. Mercadona was our favourite. Debby was very responsive to my messages. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again x

We had a fabulous stay in Nerja. The home was an exceptionally high standard, it had absolutely everything we needed, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Communication was excellent and the host took extra care and attention following a huge storm in the area. The property was of a very high standard with lovely furniture and great attention to detail, well stocked kitchen and lots of space for a family of 9. We would absolutely visit again.

Had a fantastic weekend stay! The place was great for our group of friends. It was spacious comfortable, as well as clean as per the photos. The Host was incrediblyy responsive and helpful, ansering all out questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups.
