WENT FOR A FAMILY CELEBRATION FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. THE HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLY STUNNING, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS, PLENTY OF SEATING, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER, WE STILL WERE ABLE TO USE ALL THE OUTSIDE AMENITIES, THE OUTDOOR BAR, SEATING AREA, FIRE PIT, THE HEAT LAMPS WERE PERFECT & UNEXPECTED. THE OUTDOOR AREA WAS AS AMAZING AS INSIDE. THE HOUSE WAS BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED, WOULD HAVE TO SAY PERFECTION! CANNOT WAIT TO GO STAY AGAIN. THANK YOU TO NATHANIA, YOU'RE COMMUNICATION WITH US WAS QUICK & GREATLY APPRECIATED! LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

Loved staying in a historic home. Quick walk or drive to all our in-town destinations. Would stay again. The coded lock gave us a little trouble the first time we used it, different from the model I am used to. Upstairs was toasty warm, but kitchen can be a bit chilly in the morning (granted it was 16 degrees outside the weekend we stayed). Overall, its a lovely vibe and made me want to learn more about the history of the house and original Denison family. The hosts were very good about communicating, so important especially on a short, weekend stay.

I came here in the dead of winter for a writer's retreat with a fellow writer- AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! It was a beautiful and inspiring place to write. Perched on Andover Lake, it was too cold to frolic outside but that was actually liberating. There was a rocking chair-ottoman combo in the master bedroom looking out on the lake and watching it freeze while I worked on some writing was so peaceful and perfect. When I needed to switch it up, there was a writer's desk with the same view and I can not overstate how nice and productive it was to work from it. I am sure in the summer it's a really fun stay (there were kayaks and a dock for swimming) but I actually loved being isolated in such an idyllic place. It's near a few other homes but the road was low traffic enough for a cold weather run around half the lake. Marcie was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat. We didn't actually use the recs - but that only speaks to how nice the house was and how hard it was to leave!

We had an incredible stay at Joy’s place! The house was exactly as described and even exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for us, providing easy access to local attractions while still offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. We loved the backyard area, which was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Joy was an amazing host—very responsive and helpful. Joy provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including local recommendations for dining and activities. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We hope to return someday! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Lovely little cottage, very thoughtful amenities such as bottled water and snacks, nicely laid out. June was very proactive in communicating with us and following up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We were there in December, but it would be a great place to stay in warmer weather when you could take advantage of being lakeside. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

It was a perfect spot for our little family vacation. We were so close to a few really nice beaches and the area is a short drive to mystic aquarium and village. Patsy and family are very nice and gave some great suggestions for activities in the area.

For my first airbnb experience, I had such an amazing and fun experience and many memories were made. Dilsia was very good at communicating and made sure everything was good during our stay. Would reccomend anyone staying here if they're visiting Worcester, MA. Thank you for letting us stay over.

We had a fantastic time. We went for a little girls weekend and it could not have gone better. The beds were comfortable, entire house was super clean, everything was as described. If it weren’t so hot we would have walked the neighborhood and probably into downtown Mystic. But it was right down the road and super easy to get to. Would love to come back.
