Vacation rentals with lake access in Tolland County

We have family in Coventry and this was close to them and right at the lake. We were only there a couple days so didn't get to enjoy the lake very much since we were at a wedding and stuff but it was a nice view and quiet. The house was very clean and the teens had fun playing games and enjoyed the little chipmunk family out back. We'll definitely stay again if it's available when we visit.

I came here in the dead of winter for a writer's retreat with a fellow writer- AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! It was a beautiful and inspiring place to write. Perched on Andover Lake, it was too cold to frolic outside but that was actually liberating. There was a rocking chair-ottoman combo in the master bedroom looking out on the lake and watching it freeze while I worked on some writing was so peaceful and perfect. When I needed to switch it up, there was a writer's desk with the same view and I can not overstate how nice and productive it was to work from it. I am sure in the summer it's a really fun stay (there were kayaks and a dock for swimming) but I actually loved being isolated in such an idyllic place. It's near a few other homes but the road was low traffic enough for a cold weather run around half the lake. Marcie was super helpful with suggestions for places to eat. We didn't actually use the recs - but that only speaks to how nice the house was and how hard it was to leave!

The nest was such a peaceful, cozy stay for us while we were in town touring UConn for a few days. The view from the living room is absolutely stunning and the cabin is so cute. Our host was so helpful in answering questions about town, and very quick to respond! We would absolutely love to stay at the nest again! Thank you for having us!

Marian’s property was extremely well-appointed, comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what I was looking for in a winter getaway . The space kept us entertained and allowed us to create great holiday memories. The kitchen, bathroom, and every space in this home was absolutely spotless. The home was well-appointed with high-quality cooking utensils, pots, and pans. There were plenty of towels, bathroom essentials, and the toys for the kids were an absolute plus. Finally, the view and the tranquility associated with the lake was great. Fire pit outside and fireplace inside allowed for the family to congregate comfortably and create wonderful memories. We can’t wait to stay here again!

This cottage was perfect for our family. The side yard was just what the toddlers needed to get some fresh air and exercise. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare a big family meal.

The log cabin was so incredibly beautiful in lovely rural setting near the lake. Inside was so cozy and inviting. Saw a couple of deer at night. Johannah was so kind and responsive. Will definitely try to return when our daughter finishes her Masters in May!!

My adult children stayed in Thomas's cottage and it worked out great for us. It was close to our main house and there was plenty of room for them. Unfortunately our stay was in the winter so we couldn't take advantage of the lake area, which is a beautiful area. The house had everything that we needed and we would definitely come back again. Thank you Thomas.

I highly recommend this property. It was perfect for our Christmas visit with family. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in East Hampton. We will be back!

I always look to stay at Kevin’s properties before anywhere else! They always are extremely clean, functional and germs of having everything you could possibly need while you were there, and prime locations! Kevin is an excellent host and is always willing to help out with any thing I have ever needed. Highly recommend any of his properties! This one in particular has an absolutely gorgeous view from every angle and amazing walk out patio

Andrea is a great host. She is very responsive and has a very nice rental with a great view of the river. I am not a fan of stairs, so I will be looking at her other rentals for next time. This one has a lot of stairs.

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding in a nearby town. Jessica was friendly, responsive, and flexible with check-in. The rooms were quiet and felt very private despite being located over the garage. If I ever need to travel back to this area I would absolutely stay here again and recommend that others do the same.

This is the first time we have stayed somewhere where our host literally thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable! We traveled with our large dog, Sampson, and were amazed to find raised dog water bowl and food bowl, along with treats already in the space. Shae also remembered details like silverware (which takeout restaurants so often forget!), wine openers, cutting boards, etc - and all in a super clean and cozy space. Would definitely stay again!

As usual, we had a very pleasant third stay at this property. We'll likely be back again next year! Highly recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at Elisa's funky apartment. It was warm and cozy and she thought of everything you might need. We particularly liked its location in downtown Stafford Springs and enjoyed walking over to the coffee shop in the morning. We will definitely book this apartment again as we often visit Stafford Springs.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

The place is beautiful! The river, the house is very comfortable. I felt safe and there was so much to do: hot tub, fireplace, grill, kayak, TV, enjoy the view, the peace around... I loved it and would definitely go back!

This is a super cute cottage that is well decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen. Everything felt new. It was a cozy place to watch movies on cold nights with a gas fireplace. About a 12 min (pretty) drive to UConn. Julie was a wonderful hostess—so responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Highly recommend, one of our best for sure, thank you

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this cozy spot. The fireplace added a warm touch, and the beautiful bathroom was a nice bonus. We loved the short 5-minute walk to the lake, which offered an incredible view. Since it was frozen, we even got to walk on it—such a unique experience! The location and privacy were perfect, and we’re already looking forward to returning in the summer.

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!
