Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Toddy Pond

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

Lovely home, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is the best stocked one we have ever experienced at a rental house and had everything we wanted and needed. The bed was very comfortable. Our pups felt right at home and enjoyed walks through the ample yard. Dwayne and Pati are great hosts and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This is amazing home in a beautiful location! Tammie, Matthew, and Chelsea are so helpful and responsive! This is the best Air BNB I’ve ever stayed in and I keep returning year after year. The town of Camden is a perfect getaway location too! Best house and town all around! House is super clean, charming, cozy, stocked with everything you need. I can’t wait to return next year!! A slice of heaven, just out of the way but convenient to Bar Harbor, local restaurants and shopping. When the hubbubs of the day get to you, coming back to the cottage was so relaxing and a great way to reconnect with family.

Description of home and area was on point. Loved that the host sent a message of all the main things to try so I didn’t have to ask anyone. Bedrooms were clean and bathroom stocked with towels. Thank you for the stay I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit bar harbor and Acadia National Park.

Dans place was everything you see and more. Beautiful surroundings, everything you need for the stay from the kitchen to the space and how close it is to everything.

Nice home, very clean, quiet neighborhood close to the amazing Acadia National Park. Diana was a wonderful hostess answered all our questions promptly and had a nice book she created for her guests listing restaurants in the area, must see places and emergency numbers. Great hostess very nice airbnb. We had a wonderful time and we can't wait to come back.

Chelsey and Andrew were superb hosts! Communication was timely. The property was conveniently located for our brief business in the Waterville, ME, area. Immaculate apartment, well-equipped kitchen, good TV access. And to experience it on a beautiful fall weekend was a bonus. My brother and I especially appreciated the little extra amenities provided. They are definitely on my list as my family considers future stays in Maine!

We really enjoyed our stay at Katie's place. It was very sweet and cozy. We live in Central Maine and came as a getaway for my birthday weekend. We had a great time enjoying the beach walk, good cafes and restaurants, the galleries, and just having time away. Katie was always responsive and was generous in offering some extra time on the last morning. I'd definitely stay there again.

We are thrilled to have found this gem in Damiriscotta! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring downtown, walkable to shops, restaurants & bars. We were incredibly comfortable and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Especially enjoyed meeting Lissette and visiting with her our last night while sitting by the fire. We will definitely be back!

Great location, right on the water. Such a special town to stay in. We ate at Cry Babies across the street and they took great care of us. It was a great all around experience in Stonington and this apartment. Great views of the water and boats.

Warren and I were very pleased with our stay at The Lodge. Nancy communicated very well before and during our visit, and she went above and beyond in helpfulness once we arrived. She and her husband were extremely kind hosts. They were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our accommodations were so pleasant, as well, and we felt right at home. And Nancy's blueberry muffins were scrumptious! We'll definitely make a return visit to Nancy's place whenever we visit Maine again.

John’s place was exactly what my friends and I needed for a girls getaway! Very close to the major shopping centres and restaurants we were looking for while there. John responded back quickly when inquiring about the place and was very pleasant to deal with. All around great place to stay !

Our stay at Kate’s Cottage at Ravens’ Crossing was the extended weekend in Maine we were looking for. It was our first getaway with our puppy, and she loved the rural freedom Lori’s place had to offer. The view of the night sky was incredible, with so many stars visible thanks to the lack of light pollution. The firewood sauna and hot tub were incredibly relaxing, and the cold water shower inside the sauna enhanced the experience. Lori made us homemade breakfast twice and delivered it to our cottage at the time we requested. Her communication was prompt and friendly. We also ate at a local cash-only diner called Lori’s Café, and at Pottle’s, both located in nearby Liberty. Camden Hills State Park is about 30 minutes away, and Acadia National Park is about 1 hour and 40 minutes away. Thank you, Lori, for providing an unforgettable Airbnb experience filled with lasting memories of Maine. This place offers an authentic stay in a true part of Maine, far from the tourism along the coast.

We had a very relaxing time at this lake house. We also drove to Acadia National Park one day, it’s a bit of a drive, but so worth it to see! We really enjoyed being outside and did a fire one evening and did some stargazing. Wish it was warmer and we would have used the kayaks! Maybe next time!

Larry was a kind and attentive host. I really felt at home in the cabin within minutes. The cabin was a great place for reading or a campfire taking walks outside or just sitting. Skowhegan is close if you need anything, and the beautiful kennebec is not far. Great place to put your feet up and relax.

Amazing stay. 20 minutes from Belfast with great restaurants. 1 hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The place was very nice and relaxing. I would 100% come back again.

We drove 5 hours to get to Lamoine, we are from Massachusetts, and it was worth every minute! Everything is exactly as in the photo and everything works perfectly as promised, we love everything and the host responds super fast! 5 stars definitely!

Great stay at Bethany’s cabin! Felt right at home for a party of three. The house came stocked with everything we needed, and there’s plenty of options for food/coffee/activities nearby (go to the Cove for a perfect sunset). It’s roughly 20min by car for going downtown. Excellent hosts, very communicative and I’d definitely recommend for anyone heading to the area!

Megan’s home was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. We cherished our time there!
