equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

I wrote this in the visitors book but I’ll say it again, if you’re going on holiday it’s only a holiday if you stay somewhere that’s nicer than your house, in my case Blacksmith’s Cottage certainly is. The Cottage smells, looks and feels warm and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable, well heated and in a great spot, it had everything we wanted. Bonuses for us were having two en-suites upstairs and a third bathroom on the ground floor, an evening sun trap garden and ponies occasionally leaning over the back wall. A short walk into Tobermory for groceries, there’s also the smokehouse just down the lane for delicious smoked trout pate, salmon and cheese. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, so all in all, thoroughly spoilt! Thanks Alison, we hope to return soon.

We had a great stay. Lovely views over Loch Schridain from the dining room, lounge and some of the bedrooms. Saw dolphins leaping out of the water in Loch Scridain. Premises clean and uncluttered. Location is great for exploring the Ross of Mull and southern Mull.

Our visit to Ella's place on Mull exceeded expectations! The Blue House instantly felt like home, with all the amenities we needed. Located in a quiet area just a short distance from Tobermory, it’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to the town. The 10 minute walk into Tobermory was very pleasant. Ella was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations for the area. The Blue House, part of a vibrant row of homes, felt like a beautiful homage to Tobermory's iconic colorful houses along the harbor. We highly recommend this charming house to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful and homely cottage in a stunning setting. We saw highland cows, seals, hares and of course sheep, practically right on the doorstep. So quiet and peaceful, with amazing views at all times of day/ no matter the weather. Cally was an amazing host and always very helpful and easy to talk to. We loved meeting her dogs too!

Excellent pod, really makes you realise you didn’t need a full blown house, sometimes it’s good to keep things simple! Had all we needed. The only thing we’d suggest, more so for those with dogs, is perhaps a fenced off area that separates the pod from the bungalow next door. Especially as the decking area is not secure if wanting to be outside. Would benefit both parties to have a bit more privacy and security for four legged friends. But Deans lovely, great communication throughout and pod comfy, warm and well equipped.

Stunning property and location ideal for all the lovely local beaches. Very cozy and comfortable. Great to park right outside too!

Spent a wonderful week at Eileen’s cottage. It was warm, spotlessly clean, comfortable and set in the most beautiful and peaceful surrounding area. Ten minutes walk to stunning beaches, with views over to Eigg, Rhum and Skye. Eileen was a most friendly and considerate host. We hope to return soon. Karen, Grant and George (our cat).😀😽

What a wonderful place to stay! Jeremy and Clare are fantastic hosts with a great property. The views across to Mull are stunning, especially from the top window, and the local area is great for walks and getting into the water for a paddle. The property has everything you need and is clean and homely - and we even had some of Jeremy’s delicious sourdough! Strongly recommended and we’d love to return. Thanks!
