House vacation rentals in Tipperary

The apartment has everything you need for a short stay in a remote peaceful setting. Communication re. check in was great. There is a lockbox for self check in however Nina met us on arrival and showed us around. The apartment was clean, warm and well stocked. There is not much room for luggage so pack light as the space is small. We chose this mainly for the sauna and plunge pool and they did not disappoint. Noel has done a wonderful job on the wood burning sauna and the natural plunge pool is what you would dream of having in your garden, it really was magical. We did not manage to use the fire pit as the weather was wet and windy but it looked lovely. We drove the Beara Way one of the days and was easily done from this location. The drive from Bantry and the nearest pub/restaurant is about 15 minutes on a narrow country road that I would not recommend doing in the dark so if you want peace and quiet and are happy to be secluded in the evenings this is the place for you.

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

Stayed for 2 nights as a family - the location was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy to find and very safe, kids could play outside. We used the hotel leisure facilities , went for a walk on the beach, and overall just explored and relaxed. Keira's place was very homely and we ended up having dinner there rather than going to a restaurant as it was so comfortable. Will stay again, thanks Keira !

Danny & Jennifer were fantastic hosts for myself, my family and extended. The accommodation was absolutely perfect for what we needed leading up to my cousins wedding. A great bonus was lots of space for the kids to run around in! Jennifer was in contact with us constantly and helped us out on multiple occasions. We couldn't recommend Caherush Lodge more to anyone who needs somewhere spacious to stay in the area. Thank you again for looking after us.

We stayed at Chris place for one night. We had an amazing stay, the location and the property is absolutely beautiful! On arrival we were met by Chris who was very friendly and showed us around. Had a great stay here as a group and the house was exceptional, suited everyone’s needs and was very clean and tidy, it was very private and the host was great with communication and check in. Highly recommended!

Lovely spot with some sheep and horses visible from the windows. Clean, friendly and the beds were very comfy. I really enjoyed the photo book with the history of the lost village under the reservoir that you could see from one window.

Cara’s Saint Seaton home was wonderful! Waking up to the beautiful Liffey Reserve every morning and enjoying a coffee on the gorgeous stone beach, the snow on the Wicklow mountains, the wind in the cedar trees, the emerald green grass that felt like another world. These are just some of the things that made this stay beyond words for my family and I. We called this place home for 3 weeks and my children still ask to go there every day. Cara was always there to assist and meet our needs. If there was an issue she resolved matters with a gold standard. When weather shifted in the area, she was there to warn us in prep for it. Honestly, shes the best host we’ve ever had! Thank you Cara!

Lovely quintessential Irish cottage on an expansive farm - we hiked through beautiful lush woodland, to the lake, and up to the highest point with the most beautiful views of the patchwork below. John was a gracious host and fascinating to talk to. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Recommend the Thatch for dinner, had a delicious birthday meal there. The staff was outstanding. Thank you for hosting us John and Linda!

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

Michael reached out to arrange checkin and was friendly and helpful in his messages. I appreciated the tip to stop before we got to Ballyvaughan for the shops. We went to Kinvarra, which is 20mins up the road and has a good size shop. We found the house with no bother, Michael welcomed us and gave the tour. The house is clearly well cared for and has all the amenities we needed. He’d even made up the stove ready to be lit, which being February was very welcome indeed. The house is about 10mins walk to town, where there are a few shops and lovely bars. We ate at Monks on Saturday and the food was incredible. I would absolutely recommend Michael’s lovely house as a base for exploring the Ballyvaughan and the Burren or just getting the chance to relax away from it all.

Cathy was extremely plesant and friendly. Her place was very clean and cozy. Well worth a visit here.

Lovely stay for a short weekend spent hiking the Lough Derg Way. Spacious rooms, warm and cosy and lots of hot water. Host provided tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc which was very handy if you wanted to cook! The apple tart which had been left for us on arrival was a lovely gesture. Would recommend for a lovely stay exploring the local area.

I don't think I've ever stayed in an airbnb with a host as considerate, accommodating, and fashionable (both in personal and interior decorating style). The space was designed with livability and beauty in mind, and it shows. My family and I settled in instantly, as the space oozes comfort, from the wood burning stove to the well-stocked and compact kitchen. And if that wasn't enough, as it was Christmas, she brought me and my family plates from her meticulously cooked family dinner. If we're ever in Cork again, we will surely rent with her, and maybe even take her out for a cocktail. Thanks, Maureen!

Great location. The photos represent well. Close to wherever you’d want to go in Galway and surrounding area. Communication’s easy and swift. Simple check in made it easy not to stress over arrival time. Nice to have the backyard. Would definitely stay again. Loved it!

We had a great stay at Angela and John’s place. We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. Angela was friendly and answered any questions we had and John was great as well. He stopped over a couple times and was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to Limerick and many other things to see in the southwest. We saw the Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle and Dingle. We loved eating at Pat Collins in Adare. Super friendly and great food. Keep in mind you won’t be walking anywhere from this place but Adare is a quick drive away. Thanks again for the great stay- hope to visit again someday.

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Eileen’s house!! The house was perfect for us and the garden is truly a little oasis. Eileen was so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Sandra was amazing host and very friendly and helpful. Her home was gorgeous. Sandra is a lovely histing leaving us apple pies, butter, milk eggs etc for our arrival. We couldn't ask for more.

We booked Miriam's place for a wedding in Aherlow House Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Our bridesmaids stayed in the house and my wife got ready for our wedding there! The views were beautiful and Miriam allowed us to check in early so that my wife would have plenty of time to get ready. it made our day so much less stressful! thank you so much!

This house was perfect for our needs. As a large group of adults, the number of en-suite rooms was great. The house had a wonderful large kitchen/living space, perfect for gatherings. The house was warm and beds were comfortable. Barbara was quick to respond and very helpful with our check-in and check-out arrangements. There was plenty of equipment and a well stocked cupboard of herbs and spices and odd bits that you need but don’t want to buy just for a few days. The location was perfect - 10 min walk to the centre of Bantry and the views are amazing from the house (despite the rain). We will definitely be back.
